The Down 'N' Outz is the project founded and fronted by Def Leppard's Joe Elliott and backed by members of The Quireboys, Wayward Sons and Vixen. The band pays tribute to rock legends Mott The Hoople following their reformation for a week's worth of gigs at Hammersmith Odeon.

Regular MetalTalk readers may remember that we covered a hometown headline show from up and coming Glasgow superstars Mason Hill back in August, and on the bill were Darlington-based quartet Deever who were playing their first ever live show.

Front man Billy Taylor is a familiar face as he was a member of Inglorious from 2014 – 2016, and is now forging ahead with his new venture ably assisted by Stevie Stoker (Guitar/Vocals), Phil Appleton (Bass Guitar/Vocals) and Dan Higgins (Drums) the band have already made a solid impression to their growing legion of fans.

Following on from the success of their first single. 'Fire At Will', the band have released a lyric video for 'All Come Running' which was directed by Samuel Andrew Fenton. The single is available to download now on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

If you like what you hear, you can catch the band live at Fibbers, York (14th December), The Underworld Camden, London (15th December), Corporation, Sheffield (16th December) and Fuel Rock Club, Cardiff (17th December)

Reuben Archer (vocalist with hard rockers Stampede and former vocalist of Lautrec, Wild Horses and Lionheart) - is set to release new solo album 'Petrolhead' with solo project Personal Sin on December 8 2017 via Toxic Arrow Records.

Produced by Archer and co-writer and guitarist Rob Wolverson, the album features 11 auto-themed hard rock, blues and funk tracks which pay homage to one of the oldest and best-loved marriages in British & American music culture – that between rock 'n' roll and fast cars.

A self-confessed lifelong petrolhead, Reuben says of the concept: "Consider this album my tribute to what may become a bygone age; a chance to revel in the splendour of the sound of a V8 engine; that old romantic vision captured so intoxicatingly back in the 50s and 60s by pioneering R&B stalwarts who gave us Jackie Brenston & Ike Turner's 'Rocket 88', Chuck Berry's 'No Particular Place To Go' and Wilson Pickett's 'Mustang Sally', to name but a few!"

Reuben Archer's Personal Sin the band features Reuben's fellow Stampede band mates Rob Wolverson and Chris Clowsley on guitar duties, plus Airrace's Linda Kelsey-Foster on keyboards along with The Dreaming Tree's Neil Ablard on drums. The album also features guest appearances from original Stampede bassist Colin Bond and rising blues sensation Rebecca Downes.

An explosion of filthy primordial guitars, liquid rhythms and primal voodoo jams, The Cherry Dolls are the pied pipers of those in search of the endless party and the eternal weekend.

With two critically acclaimed EPs under their belt and more broken guitar strings and tour damaged gear than they'd care to recall, the Dolls have delivered their biggest sonic missile, Debut Album 'Viva Los Dolls'.

Sydney hardcore legends Toe To Toe release their new album 'Rise Up' on 24th November via Golden Robot Records.

'Rise Up' features 12 brand new tracks and is a statement to the band's longevity. Two singles have been released from the album to prime fans for the album release. The anthemic call to arms that is the title track, 'Rise Up' and an ode to their hometown, titled simply 'Sydney'.

Hard hitting riffs, crushing grooves, huge choruses and catchy hooks infuse with good time, balls-out rock that truly captures what this Welsh hard rockers Digital Criminals are all about.

Vocalist Emily Bates says "Move It is one of those fun tracks that always gets the crowd jumping at our shows and we really wanted to capture that live energy on camera. We produce our own music and videos and bringing this one to life was so much fun!

With the help of friends and fans who jumped around, sang along, let us take over their music venue, borrow light rigs, camera gear and fed us cheese toasties.. we really did Move It!"

> Hard rock trio Idlewar hail from Orange County, California, and formed in 2014. Influenced by AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, the trio have funded their new album and upcoming tour from a Pledge fund.

Industrial noise-punk duo Black Futures have released their new video for 'Love', which features kaleidoscopic visuals and nightmarish strobes making it an onslaught of visceral, psychedelic delirium.

Theatrical punks Felix Hagan & The Family have released their new single 'Attention Seeker'. The triumphant pop punk anthem is the title track and opener of the band's debut album Attention Seeker, out on November 24th.

Regarding the single Felix Hagan says, "It is the hymn for the eternal show-off, the cry of all those whose life hinges on the approval of others. And I absolutely love it."

'Attention Seeker' follows the release of the extravagant rock 'n' roller 'Hey I Want You' and the electro-rock stomp of 'Delirium Tremendous', all taken from the forthcoming album.

The female fronted progressive power Metal band Vandroya just released a music video for 'The Path To The Endless Fall', the second single from their new album 'Beyond The Human Mind',available now through Inner Wound Recordings in Europe and North America and through Bickee Music in Japan.

With a more evident progressive influence but without giving up the weight and virtuosity of power Metal, the new album brings a more mature band, a more balanced sound and reflects the musicians technical and artistic evolution since the debut album 'One'.

The album concept revolves around the journey we all go through in search of fullness and inner peace. The album artwork is created by Felipe Machado Franco [Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, Iced Earth].

London mother funkers In Search Of Sun have released a The Exorcist-inspired music video for the song 'Bad Girl'.

The song - featuring a guest appearance from Monuments guitarist, John Browne - is taken from the band's latest studio album, 'Virgin Funk Mother', which was digitally released on October 20 via Spinefarm Records.

"'Bad Girl' pays homage to The Exorcist - the greatest film ever, and my personal favourite," comments band vocalist Adam Leader. "It was a lifelong dream to be able to bring something like this to life. Obviously, we had to recreate some of the iconic scenes from the film, but the whole video alludes to a much bigger message about the world we live in. Not everything is what it seems. Sometimes we get the wool pulled over our eyes and we're none the wiser..."

Entheos, comprised of masterful musicians who cut their teeth in bands like Animals As Leaders and The Faceless, have dropped the video for the new song 'World Without Us'.

It was directed by Orie McGuinness at Enlighten Creative Studios. The track will appear on their new album 'Dark Future', out today through Spinefarm Records.

Entheos will hit the road next month in support of 'Dark Future', touring alongside Whitechapel, Carnifex, Rings of Saturn and So This is Suffering.
