6th October 2017

Edition sixty five of Cum On Feel The Newz.

Wilson Pickett bought Sally a brand new Mustang in 1965. If she's still got it she will be exempt from paying road tax in the UK by now.

Let's do this...

Code Orange
Black Futures
Body Count
Hammerfall
Cavalera Conspiracy
Obey The Brave
Dr Living Dead!
Five Finger Death Punch
Gothic Industry
Over To You
Veil Of Maya
Savage Messiah
Liv Sin
King King
Witchery
Metalite

It's time to get ready for one of the most heaviest and hotly anticipated Metal records of 2017, when the mighty Cavalera Conspiracy will strike back this autiumn; 'Psychosis' will be coming out on November 17th on Napalm Records.

Now the Cavalera brothers have unleashed a first lyric video for the album opening track 'Insane'. Says Max Cavalera: "Let's open the mosh pit and go insane!!!"

Five Finger Death Punch unite with chart-topping Europeans In Flames to co-headline what promises to be the biggest and most exciting arena rock tour of Autumn/Winter 2017. To coincide with the tour the band are releasing a new single, the defiant 'Ain't My Last Dance' taken from their album 'Got Your Six'.

"We thought this was the perfect song to address the various rumours circulating out there. Ivan is doing great and the band is firing on all cylinders. Not just isn't this our 'last dance' but as we are gearing up for the European tour, we are kicking it up a notch and building our biggest stage show to date" says Zoltan Bathory, founding member and guitarist.

The trek takes in arenas across Europe and the UK beginning in November, stopping in most major cities, and concluding on December 21st at Wembley Arena in London.

King King have released the official lyric video for new single 'Long Time Running', appearing on the band's forthcoming studio album 'Exile & Grace', released on Friday 13th October.

The album coincides with King King's biggest UK tour to date. Due to a throat condition with lead singer and guitarist Alan Nimmo, the band's October 2017 UK tour dates have been re-scheduled to January 2018. All October 2017 tickets are valid for the rescheduled shows.

The touring line-up includes new member Jonny Dyke (ex-James Morrison and Elkie Brooks) who has replaced Bob Fridzema as King King's official keyboard player.

Los Angeles-based crossover Metal icons Body Count have released a new music video for their track 'This Is Why We Ride', which is featured on the band's 2017 full-length, 'Bloodlust' and directed by Treach (Naughty By Nature).

The Ice-T fronted Metal outfit has received universal acclaim on the strength of the album with the group earning nominations for Metal Artist of the Year, Metal Album of the Year ('Bloodlust') and Metal Song of the Year ('No Lives Matter') at the upcoming 2017 Loudwire Music Awards.

The event, which will be held on Tuesday, October 24th at The Novo Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, will also feature a live performance from Body Count.

Gothic Industry, the Los Angeles based theatrical band has released their debut video 'Thrice'; a visual representation of the band and their latest opus.

The music video was shot in downtown Los Angeles during an intense one-day shooting schedule utilizing three cameras, one of which was a drone for the overhead shots. The intent was not only to capture the bands live performance, but also to display the narrative of the song in a compelling visual.

The song 'Thrice' is based on the superstition of three, with death coming in threes, a curse comes back threefold, etc.

When Hammerfall released their debut album, 'Glory To The Brave,' twenty years ago, the five Swedes launched a true Heavy Metal revival overnight.

The album is now set for re-release, to include the completely re-mastered version of 'Glory To The Brave', a radio edit of the legendary title track, a great cover version of the Stormwitch classic 'Ravenlord' and a bonus live CD recorded this year in Berlin.

The double CD will also be enhanced by a bonus DVD containing the first chapters of their 'The First Crusade' documentary, which was originally published on VHS, as well as four new, historically edited interview chapters, plus a live recording of their Dynamo Open Air show at Eindhoven in 1998.

High flying Over To You are all set to close up 2017 with their new video single, 'Storm Chasing', taken from their forthcoming EP 'SOS'. The track is a burly slice of engulfing melodic-punk served with a killer hook that will devour you whole.

The energetic trio have a clear focus and a hearty affection for gritty punk. Pulling inspiration from the likes of early Green Day, Sum 41 and The Story So Far, Over To You cunningly weave infectious melodies and harmonies with gripping hooks and hard-hitting punk to stunning effect.

With several UK dates already confirmed, as well as a northern UK tour in the works, the closing months of 2017 are sure to set the Bristol boys up for an exciting 2018 you really don't want to miss.

Industrial noise-punk duo Black Futures have revealed the brand new video for their debut single 'Karma Ya Dig!?'.

Reminiscent of Death From Above 1979, Nine Inch Nails and The Chemical Brothers, 'Karma Ya Dig!?' combines deep, dark, dangerous bass, throbbing beats, serrated guitars and trippy vocals to create a nihilistic dream-like soundscape.

The accompanying visuals present the human condition through juxtaposing scenes of microscopic organisms and the vast, swirling cosmos; science and culture; birth and war, set against retro TV fuzz.

Liv Sin's new song 'King Of The Damned' is a call to action for the public to do something about the extinction of the world's wildlife. The band has chosen to work with the Swedish animal rights organisation Djurens Rätt during the single campaign.

Singer Liv Jagrell got the inspiration for the lyrics to 'King Of The Damned' from Nick Brandt's picture of Cecil the Lion from the exhibition 'Inherit The Dust', a photo exhibition where Brandt revisited places where he used to take pictures of the wildlife that shows how these landscapes have now turned into wastelands filled with piles of garbage.

"This is extremely depressing and not flattering for mankind. Unfortunately this is the way we are heading if we do nothing. Remember 'Lion King'? Well, soon there is not going to be any 'King Of The Jungle' left. The few lions left will become the 'King Of The Damned' instead."

Veil Of Maya have released a music video for 'Doublespeak', the second single from their upcoming record 'False Idol' due out 20th October 2017 via Sumerian Records.

The band are currently on the road supporting The Devil Wears Prada, alongside Silent Planet and Thousand Below across the US and Canada, hitting a total of 31 cities before wrapping up on 04 November in their hometown of Chicago, IL.

'False Idol', the band's highly anticipated new album, is said to be their heaviest, most hypnotic, and hardest record yet.

Canadian Metalcore band Obey The Brave have started their European/UK tour with Stray From The Path and now share a brand new video for the song 'Mad Season', the title track of their latest album which was released this summer on Epitaph.

The band had following to say about the new video: "Shot this music video during our last European tour. Watched it for the first time this morning and instantly started missing touring. Can't wait to head back to Europe later this week!"

Obey The Brave's third album is their most ambitious yet viscerally potent album so far. 'Mad Season' demonstrates a true artistic evolution for the band, and their most stylistically diverse work to date. In addition to featuring a collaboration with French Canadian rap group Loud Lary Ajust (on the beat-heavy 'RIP'), Mad Season finds Erian expanding his vocal approach and introducing a singing style inspired by old-school punk.

Dr. Living Dead! have released the title track from their upcoming album 'Cosmic Conqueror', due to be released on 27th October via Century Media.

'Cosmic Conqueror' is more aggressive, more compelling and more fun than ever before - a skull-fracturing thrash dream.

Dr. Living Dead! will return to Europe next year to support their new album, including a one-off show in London.

Code Orange have shared their official music video for industrial-tinged monster 'The Mud' which debuted in the USA during Adult Swim's Toonami this weekend.

The band are currently on a coast-to-coast run of North American dates alongside Gojira and Torche til mid-October. The band will remain on the road through the end of 2017 performing at an array of US festivals including Monster Energy's Aftershock and Ozzfest Meets Knotfest.

Swedish blackened thrash Metallers Witchery are now launching a second single and video for the track 'Of Blackened Wing', off their upcoming album 'I Am Legion', to be released on November 10th 2017 via Century Media Records.

Guitarist Jensen checked in with the following comment: "'Of Blackened Wing' is a song that perfectly combines both the old and new sounds of Witchery. It mixes the thrashing touch of old with the grittiness and rawness of new. It's one of my personal favourites on the 'I Am Legion' album and it will definitely be a part of our set for our upcoming live shows."

Swedish melodic Metal band Metalite just released a lyric video for 'Nightmare', the second single from their debut album 'Heroes In Time'.

The album will be released on October 27th in Europe and North America through Inner Wound Recordings.

'Heroes In Time' is an impressive debut album filled with melodic and memorable songs, crowned with the strong and emotional vocals by vocalist Emma Bensing as well as a powerful production by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Evergrey).

British Heavy Metal act Savage Messiah have released a video for their brand new single 'Wing And A Prayer', taken from their upcoming album 'Hands Of Fate'.

Frontman David Silver told us: "This is a powerful snapshot of our upcoming album, loud and anthemic! With my favourite guitar solo yet. We've had this song in our set for the past few shows and have been really taken aback at how 'instant' the song has been, and how well fans have reacted to it, so we're really excited to share this video for all of you."

Right after the album release at the end of October, Savage Messiah will be touring in the UK and Ireland as special guest on the Cradle Of Filth tour.
