Swedish melodic rockers H.E.A.T have released a lyric video for 'Time On Our Side', the first track to be released from the band's upcoming fifth studio album 'Into The Great Unknown', the follow-up to 2014's 'Tearing Down The Walls'.

The new album was produced by Tobias Lindell, who also produced 'Tearing Down The Walls', and was recorded at Karma Sound studios on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand. It also marks the return of guitarist Dave Dalone, who played on the band's first three albums, but left in 2013 before re-joining last October to replace founder member Eric Rivers.

"During the making of this album, I think we all felt a little bit like astronauts going off to space for the first time," says Dalone. "We set out on a journey not knowing what we would come back with, or if we'd even make it back. Somewhere along the way, the pieces began to fall into place. There's just no point in doing the same album over and over again just because it works. When it all comes down to it, you want to make the songs shine to their full potential. If that includes bending the rules of the genre or crossing paths into unknown territory, so be it."

'Into The Great Unknown' will be released on September 22 via EarMusic, and is available to pre-order now. H.E.A.T will tour the UK in December (dates announced soon).

Trivium have returned with a new track titled, 'The Sin And The Sentence', the first new music from the group since their celebrated 2015 LP, 'Silence In The Snow'. The track is joined by an official music video streaming now on Trivium's YouTube channel.

Trivium will return with a new album this Autumn, with more details to be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the Orlando, Florida-based band will spend this August lighting up Europe.

Following their triumph at Germany's Wacken Open Air, further festival appearances take place at Austria's Jolly Roger Festival, Poland's Woodstock Festival and more, along with headline dates featuring support from Obituary and Bury Tomorrow.

Following his long awaited first UK solo tour in May and an incredible guest slot with Supersonic Blues Machine at this years Ramblin' Man Fair, world renowned Blues guitarist Eric Gales will be returning to the UK and Ireland this October/November.

Released on 24 February, Eric Gales new album Middle of the Road received rave reviews and sees him at his most expressive yet; it is a deeply personal and reflective record that echoes where he is in his life right now and he opens himself up and allows himself the chance to really flourish.

Catch Gales live on the following dates:
Tues 24th Oct - Whelans, Dublin
Wed 25th Oct - Dolans Warehouse, Limerick
Thur 26th Oct - Cyprus Ave, Cork
Fri 27th Oct - Picturedrome, Holmfirth
Sun 29th Oct - Mr Kyps, Bournemouth
Tues 31st Oct - Boom, Boom Club, Sutton
THU 02nd Nov - Robin 2, Bilston

The Cadillac Three have unveiled a brand new video for 'Demolition Man', in support of the forthcoming album 'Legacy', out August 25th.

Watch the video here, and then see what the band have to say about the track:

Acclaimed Scottish blues-rockers King King have had to re-schedule their October 2017 tour dates to January 2018 due to problems with Alan Nimmo's voice. He has issued the following statement:

"As you know I have had yet another set back concerning the recovery of my vocal cords. Firstly I'd like to once again apologise to you for not being able to carry on at the Wharf in Tavistock on Friday 28th July and also for not being able to perform our shows at Buckley and Steelhouse festival on the same weekend.

"Unfortunately, it is now clear, that in order for my voice to fully recover I need to undertake an extended break from performance. After further consultation, I plan to take a minimum of a 3-month break to undergo a period of rest & vocal rehabilitation.

"This has been one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to take in my career and fully realise King King will be letting down an awful lot of people in the next few months, I can only apologise most sincerely. It would be unfair to our wonderful fans, for me to carry on as I am and risk ruining any further King King gigs.

"I'm working to get fighting fit, both vocally and physically to perform at the top of my game when we return to the stage towards the end of the year."

Progressive/cinematic rock project, Orissa, drops the title track from the upcoming album 'Resurrection', due out November 3rd 2017.

Mastermind behind the project, David Dodini, graduated with honours from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and completed his masters at the Biella Conservatory's Scuola Niccolo Paganini in Biella, Italy. Orissa's live band is a roster of NYC's finest musicians from Trans Siberian Orchestra, Neal Morse Band, Stratospheerius, Book Of Mormon, Dyed In Grey, Haakons Fault, Emergence and Astronaut Down.

Born out the of desire to explore inner creative space and create a distinctive, cathartic, deeply personal and therapeutic art, Dodini abandoned the strictly classical background and delved into his own songwriting, fusing his classical training with his love for jazz, balkan and other ancient rhythmic traditions, and immersion into Metal and progressive music, as the genres carry numerous parallels. More information and regional tour dates will be announced shortly.

Swedish progressive death pop band The Great Discord are back with their sophomore album, entitled 'The Rabbit Hole'. Returning from tours with Ghost, Kvelertak, Katatonia and Ghost Bath, the band have wowed reviewers and concertgoers across Europe with their theatrically enticing and energetic performances.

Today the band have released an animated music video for new track 'Omen' which features a guest guitar solo from Mark Halcomb of Periphery.

Thematically, the album represents an alternate twist on the famous story of Alice tumbling down the rabbit hole by Lewis Carrol. It also introduces Fia's new on-stage persona, named Ire, a sinister and dangerous being that acts as a guide throughout the songs, which is accompanied by a fully-illustrated book.

Peaceville have announced the signing of Norwegian Black Metallers Mork who will release their new album 'Eremittens Dal' on 13th October.

The album also includes special guest appearances from Dimmu Borgir's Silenoz who contributes vocals on two tracks, plus additional bass parts from 1349's Seidemann.

The grim pencil cover art comes courtesy of Jannicke Wiese-Hansen, who famously made artwork for early Burzum and Satyricon releases. The band have released the first track and video for 'I Hornenes Bilde' directed by director Daniel Pedersen:

From North are a new Swedish Viking Metal band founded in 2016 in Varberg Sweden. The debut album is due to be released in September and a preview is available below.

Their music is a mixture of heavy and unadorned songs, with texts taken from Norse mythology consisting of gods, vikings and other beings. The band has a large and dynamic sound that is backed by a large production consisting of many medieval instruments.

The band consists of Håkan Johnsson (singer and songwriter) Mattias Svensson (guitar), Mikael Kindblad (bass) Robin Hermansson (drums), Janne Lüthje (guitar) and Andreas Lindvall (lyrics).

Josh Todd & The Conflict unveil the powerful new music video for the track, 'Rain', taken from their debut album 'Year of the Tiger', out September 15th on Century Media Records, and the band will be touring world-wide throughout 2017/2018.

The conceptual clip was directed by Billy Jayne (Buckcherry) and shot in downtown Los Angeles. Todd states:

"I wanted the video to be edgy, so naturally I called upon renowned director Billy Jayne, who shot the Buckcherry videos for ‘Gluttony,' 'Bring it on Back' and 'Say Fuck It' and really understands what we are trying to achieve. We wanted it to be like the movies Heat meets to Live and Die In LA with me coming in and out narrating it with the melody.

"The concept is a bunch of gangsters get robbed by some fake DEA agents and throughout the video the gangsters find out who did it, hunt them down and kill them all. We picked some iconic locations in downtown LA to shoot and being a California native it was very cool for me. Wanted it to look like a short film and Billy captured all that and then some. Enjoy!"

Italian Death Metal collective Devangelic, featuring within its ranks current and former members of Vulvectomy, Putridity, Corpsefucking Art and Posthuman Abominations are preparing to unleash an unholy opus of brutal Death Metal madness with their highly anticipated sophomore album titled ‘Phlegethon', out this October via Comatose Music.

'Phlegethon' is based on the dark surroundings of Dante's Inferno and is an exemplary follow up to their phenomenal 2014 debut ‘Resurrection Denied'. Expect ten blistering tracks of mind-numbing, unrelenting guttural savagery that will set new standards in the genre.

Sunshine State's hotly anticipated metalcore five-piece Wage War have unleashed a preview of forthcoming second album 'Deadweight'. This is also their second record with Jeremy McKinnon (A Day To Remember) at the production helm alongside Andrew Wade (Neck Deep, The Ghost Inside).

In a defining new era for the band, Wage War is certain to incite frenzied mosh pits for years to come, as the band displays an aggression that they've have only hinted at in the past.

Dan Reed Network are pleased to announce they will be special guest on Extreme's December 2017 UK tour, with tickets on sale now. To celebrate this news, the official music video for their single 'Infected' has been launched.

"DRN is honoured to be touring with Extreme this December in the UK," says Dan Reed. "The funk rock scene of the late 80's early 90's was an exciting, inventive era in the music scene and to be sharing the stage with one of a handful of bands that championed that movement will be nothing but good times on stage for us, and a raucous experience for the audience.

"This tour promises to be an adrenaline fuelled evening of soaring melodies, infectious grooves and a party atmosphere that we in the band are truly excited about being a part of, and we are tremendously grateful to be on the road with such a talented and innovative band. Time to funk it up big time!"

Two months ago, the German Thrash Metal legends Tankard played the Eintracht Frankfurt FC club anthem 'Schwarz-weiß wie Schnee' in front of over 30,000 enthusiastic Frankfurt supporters, a short time before the kick-off of the German cup final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund at Berlin's Olympic Stadium.

Recently the band announced a new version of their EP 'Schwarz-Weiß wie Schnee', which has been completely sold out for over ten years. The EP will be available via mail order and digitally on 15th September 2017 via Nuclear Blast.

Today, the band reveal the cover artwork for this upcoming EP. The artwork was designed by cult comic artist Michael Apitz, whose comics have been published for years in the stadium newspaper of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Hickory, N.C. sci-fi Metal band Rapheumets Well (Ra-few-mets) are welcoming fans to their parallel universe in which their latest album 'Enders Door' enriches a voyage of lore and a sound that is a complex mix of classical orchestrations, cosmic synths, and extreme Metal.

Their new video 'Unveiling The Sapient, introduces the brutality of a dimension that continues the story line where in the fifth era of the Avomenian Empire, amid the planetary ruins of Vaath, a rogue traveler would discover an artifact that would forever change their place in the cosmos.

Following an epic debut appearance at Download 2017 in a rammed tent, Devilskin proudly unveil the brand new video for the swaggering 'Believe in Me'.

The 'Believe in Me' video was filmed while the New Zealand band were in the UK for Download, following a tour with Airbourne. This hard hitting love song is taken from their new album 'Be Like the River'.

"We had spent months looking for a director when myself and Nail stumbled across Shae Stirling at an awards night. Three seconds of looking at his previous work was all we needed to know he was our guy. A month later we are shooting it at the beautiful Elvaston Castle in Derbyshire. With incredible grounds, it really was the perfect location for this video. Grand and foreboding. It features the band in acting roles as well as performing. We had a lot of fun with it." explains Devilskin's Paul.
