Punky Meadows and Frank DiMino of Angel came together for the first time in over 30 years to perform 'Tower' at the Backstage Bar and Billiards in Las Vegas, on March 8th, 2017. For the visual/sonic proof, check it out below.

"Just finished playing Backstage Bar and Billiards in Vegas and Frank Dimino came to the show jumped up on stage and we played the 'Tower'," says Punky. "It felt just like it did in Angel. The band kicked ass and Frank felt it and sang his ass off. We didn't miss a beat and the fans went crazy!! We blew the roof off the house. It was really awesome to jam with Frank again!!"

Remaining Punky Meadows tour dates include April 21st at The Chance (Poughkeepsie) and April 29th at BB Kings (New York City).

UK heavy rockers Mallen have released the official video for their debut single, 'Jack of Cards'. The track was recorded and produced by David Radahd (aka Johnny Rocker, Heavens Basement) and is available to download via iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.

Formed in late 2013, the empowering, anthemic music of songwriter Dann Pritchard and the captivating vocals of frontwoman Kelly Jane were brought to life with the addition of bassist Dean Ellis and drummer Tom Crowfoot.

A mutual love for Hot-rods, 'Greasers' and heavy rock gave the band fuel for inspiration and the outcome was their first EP, 'Ignition', released in February 2015, and well received by reviewers and radio stations alike.

The release sparked a stream of gigs for the band, including some great opening slots for Toseland and Funeral for a Friend, and a slot at the LG Forum stage at Birmingham NEC during Mötley Crüe 's farewell tour, where they played an acoustic set. Since then guitarist Rhys Broomhall has joined, Ellis has left and is replaced by Joe Horton, and the bar is raised to the next level.

Legendary Misfits Guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein is set to star in 'Death Ward 13', a remake of the cult-classic film 'Don't Look In The Basement'. With his iconic Devilock hair and impressive physical build, Doyle will play the most terrifying character in the film.

The film is inspired by S.F. Brownrigg's 'Don't Look In The Basement' (1973) and Edgar Allen Poe's short story 'The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether' (1845) and promises to deliver a thrilling grindhouse-inspired remake with a shocking collection of criminally insane patients: botched lobotomies, necrophilia, sexual deviance, and violent psychopaths.

"I'm looking forward to starting my movie career with a starring role in 'Death Ward 13'. It's time to release the beast on the big screen. Let the killing begin!" said Doyle, who is currently on tour in the USA supporting his new album 'As We Die', due for release on Friday 5th May through the Monsterman Records/EMP Label Group.

Birmingham's award winning Broken Witt Rebels and Norfolk's Southern rock band Bad Touch – two of the most exciting new prospects in the UK blues rock music scene – have just started their 13-date co-headlining Roadstars tour.

Broken Witt Rebels experienced success in 2016 with the release of their EP 'Georgia Pine' featuring the Planet Rock playlisted singles 'Low' and 'Guns' – the music video for 'Guns' attracted more than 474,000 views. BWR won Best Rock Act at the first annual Unsigned Music Awards and were also nominated for Best Live Act. Last year, BWR supported King King, Southside Johnny, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Whiskey Myers and Kaleo on their UK tours.

Bad Touch supported the Kentucky Headhunters on their critically acclaimed sell-out UK tour and Whiskey Myers at their sold out concert at The Dome in London last year. Their second studio album 'Truth Be Told' was released on Bad Touch Records in December 2016 and features the singles '99%' and 'Made To Break', both remixed for radio by the legendary Rolling Stones engineer and co-producer, Chris Kimsey.

Swedish classic/progressive rock supergroup The Night Flight Orchestra (featuring members of Soilwork and Arch Enemy) have revealed the cover artworks for the forthcoming third studio album,'Amber Galactic', which is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2017 via Nuclear Blast.

Singer Björn Strid told us: "Amber Galactic is a relationship drama set in space, the first classic rock space opera on double vinyl. As seasoned musicians, we're taking this project seriously, although we might come across as slightly retrofuturistic at times, there's no irony involved.

It's just us trying to shape our future into a place where our race is led by female space commanders with pearl necklaces and a quasar sense of gravity. 'Amber Galactic' is about setting free from genre boundaries and expectations that are put on people like us. We just want to create music that we would like to hear ourselves, but that isn't only for us."

Things are going faster than ever for the Iron Bastards - a few weeks after the official release of their second and filthy full-length album, 'Fast & Dangerous' out on CD and Digital through the German record-label FDA Rekotz.

The fast & dirty rockers from East of France will play this summer at Hellfest Open Air Festival with their new label mates Los Disidentes Del Sucio Motel.

In addition, the band will also re-release 'Fast & Dangerous' album on limited vinyl through Hell Prod - get a taste of what to expect here:

Ohio quartet Nine Shrines will release their debut EP 'Misery' on Mascot Records digitally on 7 April and physically on 21 April. The official video for 'King Of Mercy' is unveiled now.

Based between Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio – Nine Shrines dig deep to explore the nuances of contemporary Metal, navigating through Metalcore, Alt-Rock and stadium sized choruses. Formed by former Attack Attack! Drummer Andrew Wetzel and Life On Repeat guitarist Andrew Baylis early in 2014, they are a band woven into the fabric of the explosive Ohio scene.

With only a handful of shows under their belt but two of those being with Halestorm and the torrential downpour flooding baptism with Volbeat, they are already coming out the traps full force. Already with a collective lifetime of ammunition and experience 'Misery' is only the start.

Leeds' prog-rock three-piece Zeitgeist are getting ready to unleash their unique genre of Final Boss Music into the world, kickin goff with an epic animated video.

New single, 'The Brightest Stars Leave The Blackest Holes' is an absolute juggernaut of sound and belting fury, taking in the most electrifying, uplifting textural and progressive parts of Muse and smashing them against the spine-tingling power and energy of Meshuggah.

This new single is taken from the 'Vacuums' EP, released today, Friday March 17th. Zeitgeist's keyboardist, Aleks Podraza comments on the track's inspirations: “The tune in itself is about planetary death, and how nothing is permanent, no matter how big. The title can also be considered an allegory for human death, and how we miss the 'brightest stars' among us."

Portuguese/British/American Heavy Metal act, G.O.T.H., have published the lyric video for the second single 'Burn' found on the self-titled album which was released last year via Musicarchy Media.

'G.O.T.H.' was produced by Ivan Prim and João Pereira at Requiem Studios in Wolverhampton UK and showcases a mesmerizing blend of female/male vocals mixed with heavy and gothic atmospheres, for all fans of HIM and female fronted Metal (Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish).

When cult thrashers Tankard are torn out their winter's sleep, it has to be for a valid reason: It is their jubilee year - 35 years of Tankard!

And, of course, a suitable soundtrack cannot be missed. That's why Gerre and co. went on a long journey to Troisdorf, together with producer Martin Buchwalter (Destruction, Suidakra), to record their 17th studio album entitled 'One Foot In The Grave' at Gernhard Studio. The album is scheduled to be released on June 2nd 2017 via Nuclear Blast.

Today, the band have published a studio trailer in which you can have a look behind the scenes of the record's production. In addition, you may also listen to the very first song snippets:

The greatest stories ever told tend to start in a stable, and so it is with Steve 'n' Seagulls, the bad-ass bluegrass maestros from rural Finland whose skilful re-workings of some of Metal's finest moments have led to tens of millions of views on YouTube, two acclaimed studio albums, plus non-stop touring on a global scale.

Now these sons of the soil are set to plough fresh UK turf in March / April 2017 with their most ambitious run to date; hitting the road under the 'It's A Long Way To The Top' banner, the five musicians will bring their party-ready headline show to the following towns & venues, with special guests Double Crush Syndrome.

IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP TOUR 2017
24th March – Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
25th March– Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
26th March – Newcastle, Think Tank?
27th March – Stoke, Sugarmill
28th March – Bristol, Fleece
30th March – Exeter, Phoenix
31st March – Birmingham, O2 Academy 2
01st April – London, Tufnell Park Dome

The female fronted progressive power Metal band Vandroya just released a lyric video for 'I'm Alive', the first single from their highly anticipated new album 'Beyond The Human Mind'. The album will be released on April 28th in Europe and North America through Inner Wound Recordings.

The album concept revolves around the journey we all go through in search of fullness and inner peace. The album artwork is created by Felipe Machado Franco [Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, Iced Earth].

Led by vocalist Daísa Munhoz, Vandroya are ready to take the next step and make a mark in the Metal scene with 'Beyond The Human Mind'.

Boston 'Solid Gold' rock legends The Real Kids are back and are returning to London as part of their Spring European tour dates. The band will return to the Dirty Water Club with special guests The Cavemen, on April 12th at London's Nambucca.

Recording now for the Boston based Ace of Hearts Records and producer Rick Harte, they have released their first new album in 30 years. Billy Cole still holds down the rhythm guitar duties, and the bass is handled by long time friend of the band, Richard Oakes, who was able to step in when original bassist Allen Paulino passed away.

Their "comeback" record got excellent reviews, delivering the same brand of rock'n'roll they always have. The band is still able to rock the house as they always have. And on, and on we go. Real rock and roll is still alive, as long as the Real Kids have anything to say about it.

If you were waiting for the next young guitar shredder to arrive, your request has been answered - check out the brand new 5-song EP, 'Built in Good Value' by Damiano Christian, released on March 13th.

The 18-year-old guitar and piano virtuoso. who hails from Middletown, Connecticut, sites Randy Rhoads, Mozart, Ritchie Blackmore, and Liberace as his top influences, and as evidenced by such a newly released video of the Beatles' 'She Loves You' (a song that was mixed by Grammy-nominated producer David Ivory, who has previously worked with Halestorm and the Roots) - Damiano knows a killer song when he hears it.

But the EP features original compositions that feature his outstanding instrumental skills, as well. “The songs on this new release were done the old school way. So no computers were used to play the music, we played all the instruments on the record. The best part of being involved in the mixing process was I could pick what I liked and basically mold the songs into what they are now"

Raw Silk burst onto the Greek and European AOR scene in the 90s with the legendary debut album 'Silk Under the Skin'. The 2004 re-release of thealbum on CD brought the band back to the forefront and led to high profilereunion concerts supporting Pink Cream 69, Jeff Scott Sotto and Winger.

After a second long hiatus and led by composer-drummer and Raw Silk founder Kostas Kyriakidis, the band has regrouped in the UK with a brand new lineup and will release the elusive and long-awaited follow-up to their revered debut.

The new album, entitled 'The Borders of Light', is a modern take on the classic Metal sound of the late 80s featuring 10 brand new tracks with a total running time of over 60 minutes. The album delivers strong melodies combined with signature keyboard lines and heavy riffs and was recorded and produced at Vault Studios in the rock heartlands of the Black Country.

Listen to the band's first single and lyric video 'Nobody Fills the Loneliness':
