Metal On The Hill have added all female thrash crew Nervosa to the line-up. The festival takes place in Graz, Austria on August 11th and 12th 2017 and includes exclusive 2017 Austrian shows by headliners Blind Guardian, Paradise Lost, Alestorm, Pagan giants Arkona, Serenity and Visions Of Atlantis. More acts will be announced shortly.

The Amity Affliction have debuted the official video for their latest single, 'All Fucked Up, from their new album, 'This Could Be Heartbreak'. The video was directed by the band's frontman Joel Birch along with Ryan Mackfall, and is the third video released from the new LP and follows the band's two part epic laid out in the videos for,'I Bring The Weather With Me' and 'This Could Be Heartbreak'.

Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown will play a run of European shows as sole support to longstanding friends and fast-rising rockers the Cadillac Three from November 5th to 22nd. TB&TS last visited Europe in May/June to guest with rock legends AC/DC, as well as playing selected headline dates of their own. Since that time, 25-year-old Tyler, now based in Nashville, plus band-mates Caleb Crosby (drums), Graham Whitford (guitar) and Noah Denney (bass), have been hard at work touring across the States, hitting stages in support of Black Label Society and Guns N' Roses, more heavyweight names to add to a list that already includes Jeff Beck, ZZ Top and Aerosmith!.

Tyler told us: "We made so many new friends across Europe earlier this year while touring with AC/DC. I'm excited that we get to return so quickly, say hello, and rock out once again. We've known the Cadillac Three guys for years, and this will be the first time we've ever joined forces on the road. It's going to be wild to say the least!"

Exist Immortal have revealed the video for their new single , 'Erode', which is taken from their upcoming album 'Breathe', out October 28th via Primordial Records. At the beginning of October the band took to the stage at this year's Euroblast Festival and will now head back out on the road for their UK headline tour. Kicking off on release day, Exist Immortal will play eight shows across the country, including a night in the capital at Our Black Heart, Camden, on November 1st.

Following the hugely successful launch of their North America tour, which kicked off last week to rave reviews, former Yes members Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman (ARW) have announced a second London date for their 2017 March UK tour.

ARW will now play Hammersmith Odeon on Saturday 18th March in addition to Sunday 19th. They will be playing ten shows starting at the Cardiff Arena on the 12th and finishing at the Manchester Apollo on the 25th.

All dates are on-sale now and you can get your tickets by clicking here.

The Doomsday Kingdom is the name of Candlemass mastermind Leif Edling's new band. Formed two years ago in the limbo of a chronic fatigue disease, he has taken the time to write, record and cleverly shape this new beast and the first EP entitled 'Never Machine' will see the light of a dark autumn day on November 25th.

"We are very happy to announce that The Doomsday Kingdom has now signed with the German label Nuclear Blast!", Doomfather Leif states. "There have been whisperings from the underworld this year that something great is about to happen, and today we can proudly reveal that the dead has risen again to deliver a motherfucker of an album!"

Tigertailz have released 'All The Girls In The World', the fourth video from their latest album 'Blast'.

Jay says: "We had such an amazing show at this year's Bang Your Head festival in Germany we felt it was only right to give the amazing fans who attended that show something to remember it by. So what better way than to use our crazy Tailz Maniacz fan footage as a video for our new single 'All The Girls'. We've always wanted to do one of these and the video has turned out amazing! And this won't be the last single off our new album 'Blast'. There'll be more to blow your mind soon!'"

The band have also been busy working on their 250 limited edition 'Shoot To Kill' EP, which will be on pink vinyl and is ue for release on November 14th. The EP celebrates thirty years of Tigertailz history.

Last Great Dreamers have unveiled the brand new video for 'Oblivion Kids', which opens their forthcoming new album, 'Transmissions', will be released through the band'sindependent label Ray Records.

Last Great Dreamers wrote Oblivion Kids from the "perspective of a loner - someone who wants to be part of something, someone with the need to belong. Their imagination is free but they're restricted by social or emotional boundaries. The desire for that buzz that is just out of reach".

Treason Kings, from Leeds, West Yorkshire, are preparing for the October 28th release of their debut EP 'Vale' and Harry Scott (lead vocals/guitar), Sam Wood (backing vocals/guitar), Matt Levy (bass) and Rob Carruthers (drums) have released their brand new video 'Circles'. Here it is.

Broken Witt Rebels have launched the official video for their new single 'Georgia Pine'. The single dovetails the band's forthcoming twelve-date UK tour with King King that kicks off at Brighton's The Old Market on Wednesday 9th November. 'Georgia Pine' is the third single and title track from the Birmingham, UK, band's recent EP release.

So-Cal rock trio Kyng have just released their new studio album, 'Breathe In The Water', via Razor & Tie. Produced by Machine (Lamb of God, Clutch) the album was recorded at The Machine Shop Recording Studio in Austin, TX and is the follow up to 2014s 'Burn The Serum'. Driven by frontman/guitarist Eddie Veliz, the three-piece band also features drummer Pepe Clarke Magana and bassist Tony Castaneda. They take a no-nonsense approach to music: free of pretense, studio trickery and gimmicks.

"We were finally able to create a record that had zero stigmas to appease the industry. Every song on this record came from the depth of what Kyng truly is as a band. This album is far beyond anything that we have done in the past. Some of my best work resides in Breathe In The Water," states frontman Eddie Veliz.

Voodoo Vegas have just released their Joker-inspired Batman 'Killing Joke' music video. It's twisted and disturbing and features band members in make-up, including famous characters from the DC universe, and other psychotic characters, dreamt up to give you nightmares. 'Killing Joke' is the first single taken from the new Voodoo Vegas album 'Freak Show Candy Floss', which you can check out right here.

"I've always been a big fan of comics, especially the clown prince of crime." states Voodoo Vegas frontman, Lawrence Case. "'Killing Joke' is a song written about him and is inspired by his historic past. When we wrote the song I knew I wanted to film a video where I turned into the Joker, and 'Killing Joke' is it."

On November 11th Downfall Of Gaia will release their sophomore album, 'Atrophy', via Metal Blade Records. 'Atrophy' was recorded at the Hidden Planet studios in Berlin together with Jan Oberg and mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley from the Atomic Garden studios in San Francisco.

The band has just uploaded a stimulant video trailer for the new album with excerpts of 'Atrophy' and atmospheric video sequences and here it is.

Helstar are joining this November/December's Flotsam And Jetsam tour with Hatchet. Helstar released their new album, 'Vampiro', on August 26 via David Ellefson's EMP Label Group.

James Rivera told us: "So as the world turns. Here you go my friends. The kind of tour I have been waiting for a lifetime for! Funny thing is it couldn't get any closer to home since I once filled in and sang with Flotsam myself. Wow! This is going to be one Hell of a full on Metal show. So for all of you who are into the real shit! This is the tour you do not want to miss! Vampiro is very happy and looking forward to transforming as many souls possible!!!"

Scattered Hamlet release 'Swamp Rebel Machine' on 4th November and you can check out the first music video and radio single which is also the album's title track. Created to capture the essence of growing up in the country while giving nods to the original classic rock and outlaw country pioneers, Scattered Hamlet is one part Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet and one part Motörhead and Down, featuring a sleazy southern influence laced with heavy rock elements.

Poland's Furia will release their fifth full-length album on 14th November 2016. Entitled 'Księżyc milczy luty', whcih roughly translates to 'Moon Silent Severe', the album is scheduled to be released through Pagan Records.

Furia's unique take on Black Metal with elements of folk (dubbed 'Nekrofolk') and abstract poetic themes influenced by the astounding and brutal beauty of their home province of Silesia took Polish black metal to entirely new regions. 'Nocel', the band's previous full-length, is said to have dominated the Polish Metal charts when it was released in October 2014.

City Of Ashes have revealed their short film for single release 'Sometimes' which is taken from their latest album 'Rise'. The film was released on World Mental Health Day and the band previously set up The Sometimes Project to help their fans with their battles with depression and anxiety, as well as raise awareness for mental and they've gained funding for the production of their new video with the National Lottery, as well as obtaining sponsorship and support from Barclays, The London Eye and The Samaritans.

Gang will release their macabre new 7" single, 'Dead'/'Enough Nothing', on November 25th via Ra-Ra Rok Records. Singer and guitarist Eric Tormey explains: "Dead was written following an epiphany of sorts. A cold, universal light leaked through my skull as I drowned in anxiety, showing me the insignificance of human struggle. We are self-aggrandising bacteria on the surface of a rock floating in a huge, mostly empty space. Anything we do or think is inconsequential, and there is only one outcome.

"One day our earth will be gone, any trace of anything anyone has ever known will be gone. There will be no rights or wrongs, no alternate paths. All the glorious and tragic events of humanity will compress into one finite moment.

"At first this prospect terrified me. I lay quivering on the floor until the following morning, holding my mother's hand while my father proclaimed that I 'had probably had some bad speed'. As the days, weeks and months passed I developed a sense of clarity. I realised that to focus on what's important in one's life is all there is to do. Don't be governed by petty desires that are thrust upon you. You don't need wealth, or love, or sex, or fame, or recognition. Look inside yourself and see what it is you desire. Anything else is fool's play."

wacken

Wacken Winter Nights 2018 takes place between February 23rd and 25th 2018 and the great news is that you can now experience a full-on, top class German Metal Festival easily and affordably.

It only takes an hour to fly to Hamburg from London and we've had longer journeys than that within the capital and they were certainly more expensive than the £33 air ticket that just appeared in our 'flights to Wacken Winter Nights' search.

wacken

Wacken Winter Nights is organised by the same team who are responsible for the world's greatest Metal festival, Wacken-Open-Air and the 2018 bill includes Skyclad, Orphaned Land, Elvenking, Finntroll, Grave Digger, Aeverium, Comes Vagantes, Coppelius, Corvus Corax, Die Pressgëng, Elvellon, Heimataerde, Hell-O-Matic, Ignis Fatuu, Ingrimm, Irdorath, Johnny Deathshadow, Krayenzeit, Letzte Instanz, Mr Hurley und die Pulveraffen, Pampatut, Pat Razket, Schandmaul, Sündenrausch, The Aberlour's, The Moon And The Nightspirit, Torfrock, Visions Of Atlantis, Vroudenspil, Wind Rose and more.

Besides this rich billing of superb Metal bands, there is so much more to see in the festival area including the medieval market and also the walking acts and jugglers you will meet at the theme worlds, including Robert Blake, three-time World Cup winner of street magic.

Wacken Winter Nights is something not to be missed and you can check out the amazing ticket and accommodation prices right here.

We just priced up the whole four day trip with hotels, flights, shuttles and festival tickets for less than £300 and we don't think you will get a better value festival than that, anywhere.

wacken

MetalTalk recently sat down with Wacken founder and owner Thomas Jensen and that interview will be online next week and it's a fascinating insight into how Wacken originated from nothing to become the world's premiere Heavy Metal event.

wacken

Wacken 2018 takes place from 2nd to 4th August 20218 and as with Wacken Winter Nights, if you have never experienced all it has to offer, then you owe it to yourself to remedy that.

Already announced for Wacken 2018 are Judas Priest, Nightwish, Running Wild (exclusive), Arch Enemy, Dirkschneider, Doro (Special Anniversary Show), In Extremo, Sepultura, Amorphis, Amaranthe, Firewind, W.A.R., Belphegor, Mantar, Knorkator, Deserted Fear, Watain, Night Demon, Epica, Knorkator, Belphegor, Firewind, Deserted Fear and many more and we'll have more Wacken 2018 announcements during December.

As well as being the greatest Heavy Metal festival in the world, it is without a doubt the Mecca of Metal and the one thing that every single person who loves our music should have on their bucket list.

For 2018, MetalTalk have joined forces with Wacken-Open-Air to help you get to Wacken easily and inexpensively and you can peruse the ticket and travel options right here.
