9th September 2016

Edition eleven of Cum On Feel The Newz. Iron Maiden's 1998 album 'Virtual XI' was the last to feature Blaze Bayley and the last the band did as a five-piece. Then a brave new world dawned...

Let's do this...

Hammerfall's brand new and tenth studio album 'Built To Last' is out on November 4th 2016 on Napalm Records and the band have unleashed the first track with the lyric video for the song 'The Sacred Vow'.

Hammerfall guitarise Oscar Dronjak told us: "Choosing a track for this was not easy, as we had several suitable songs. But 'The Sacred Vow' is a pretty classic HammerFall tune and very representative of the album as a whole: speed, power, energy and with a catchy chorus that oozes of Heavy Metal spirit."

Attica Rage have a new video for 'All Summer Long', which was filmed on location at Ardeer Beach, Stevenston in North Ayrshire, Scotland on one of the hottest days of the Scottish summer. Tthe video was directed and edited by James Mackenzie of Soundshape Productions with additional drone footage courtesy of Kenneth Sands and fire chief David Swainson. 'All Summer Long' is the second single taken from the new Attica Rage album 'Warheads Ltd' with original cover artwork and sculpture by Scottish artist Suzanne McAleer.

Vader have revelaed the cover for forthcoming new album 'The Empire' which is out on 4th November via Nuclear Blast. Mastermind Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek told us: "Here is the cover artwork for 'The Empire' created by Joe Petagno himself!! The design as a whole includes many details connected to the main theme which influenced me before and during the process of recording: war and the 'cold crisis' around us today.

"There are also links to couple of famous movie series, which influence the generations and erupt with violence, hate and 'imperial tendencies'... is this just a fantasy or maybe a sign of the 21st century generation? You have to answer that yourself... and the future will show us. Enjoy 'The Empire' and join us on tour soon!"

California G-Punks (Hed)p.e. have premiered a new music video, 'Pay Me' which is taken from their latest album 'Forever!'. Frontman Jahred said: "This video is just a perfect window into the everyday life of a band on tour. It just shows us kicking back, riding, smoking, and mostly importantly SHREDDING!

"I like how it builds up from just straight skanging around the street to something more meaningful. It shows how fun our live shows are, and it shows how tight knit the band is as people. The song just ROCKS so HARD!"

To mark their fast approaching co-headlining UK tour with Egyptian death metallers Scarab, De Profundis have released a stunning new promotional video clip, for their song 'All Consuming' which is taken from the critically acclaimed 'Kingdom Of The Blind' album out on Wicker Man Recordings. This should whet the appetite of fans around the country looking forward to those imminent live dates.

Heaven Shall Burn have launched 'Bring The War Home', a band-new track and lyric video taken from their upcoming album 'Wanderer' which is due for a worldwide release on September 16th 2016 via Century Media Records. HSB's upcoming club tour sold out within 24 hours. You can check out 'Bring The War Home' right here:

Ukraine's Jinjer, featuring power frontlady Tatiana have released a kick-ass new music video. 'Just Another' is a track from their latest album 'King Of Everything' which is out now via Napalm Records. Jinjer will be hitting the road all over Europe for some special headlining shows in late September through to November.

Brant Bjork is back and with that, he delivers a fresh and uplifting new album entitled 'Tao Of The Devil' which is out on September 30th. 'Tao Of The Devil' is more focused than its predecessor 'Black Power Flower' and boasts a more song-oriented and groovy stoner sound, with a healthy dose of 70s style greatness.

Check out the first track from the upcoming album, 'Stackt'.

2016 marks the thirty year anniversary of the legendary New York Hardcore band Sick Of It All and in order to celebrate this special occasion the band will be releasing 'When The Smoke Clears' on November 4th 2016 via Century Media records.

The band didn't just record five brand new tracks in their unique and classic old school style, but they also dug deep in their photo archives and pulled up rare photos as well as iconic shots from their past and present. Everything was compiled for a strictly limited, luxurious 60 page coffee table Artbook that is wrapped in fake leather and that comes with personal liner notes from people such as Davey Havok (AFI), Dennis Lyxzén (Refused), Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music), Arthur Smilios (Gorilla Biscuits) and Matt Kelly (Dropkick Murphys).

Sick Of It All have already toured Europe three times this year including summer festivals such Hellfest (F), Punk Rock Holiday (SI), Rocco Del Schlacko (DE), Ieper (BE) or Ruhrpott Rodeo (DE). In October they will come back for another two weeks prior to the release of 'When The Smoke Clears' and in January 2017 the band is heading to Australia for five shows with Refused.

Destrage release 'A Means To No End', the fourth full-length from the Milan, Italy-based five-piece, on October 21st via Metal Blade Records. For a first preview of 'A Means To No End', a lyric video (directed by The Jack Stupid /thejackstupid.com) for the new single, 'Symphony of the Ego', can be viewed here.

On September 23rd, melodic death Metal outfit Allegaeon will be releasing their fourth full-length, 'Proponent For Sentience', via Metal Blade Records. The band have launched a performance video for the new album track, 'All Hail Science', which was shot at Black Sky Brewery in Denver, Colorado during the recording of 'Proponent For Sentience' earlier this year.

Allegaeon's Greg Burgess (guitar) told us: "We had the great pleasure of being allowed to shoot 'All Hail Science' at Black Sky Brewery here in Denver. We have a great selection of Metal bars here and Black Sky is by far my favourite. It has such a friendly atmosphere and the staff and owners are so supportive of our local scene. Basically Black Sky let us throw a free show/party for anyone who wanted to show up. It's pretty apparent from the video, but we had a blast that day. Huge thanks to Black Sky for their hospitality, SSS Productions for running sound and lights, Vince Edwards from Metal Blade for filming us being dumb, and the fans who showed up to party!"

Norwegian prog outfit Seven Impale have announced that they will release their new album 'Contrapasso' on 16th September via Karisma Records (Virus, Airbag). The band have also shared a brand new track, 'Languor', which you can listen to here.

Here's the new video for 'Undefeated' by Seita. It's from their new EP 'Undefeated' which is out now.

Macedonian Gothic Doomsters My Darkest Time have just released their fourth album, 'The Last', on Inverse Records. Like the previously released albums this one also includes guests. Torbjörn Weinesjö (Veni Domine) is playing solo guitars on 'Ephrath' and Sime Stefkovski is handling Piano on 'O Beloved'. The album was mixed and mastered by Slava Malinin. Here's 'The Gates'.

Cantharone, Pabst Twin Cities, and Minneapolis Eagles #34 are excited to announce the fourth annual Canthrammer Festival live from Minneapolis Eagles #34 in South Minneapolis. Curated and organized by Joe and Jake Anderson and their Metal band Cantharone, Canthrammer Festival is a gathering of some of the best Metal, country, and bluegrass bands in the Twin Cities. Featured artists include Cantharone, Invidiosus, Lungs, Dirt Road Ramblers (final show), The Federales and Miss Myra And The Moonshiners and many more.

Doors open at 7pm on Saturday 10th September 2016 and music runs from 7.00pm to 1.00am. A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to US Veterans organizations.

King 810 have released 'Alpha & Omega', the second gripping track from their forthcoming album 'la petite mort or a conversation with god'. 'Alpha & Omega''s official music video was conceptualized and directed by King 810 frontman David Gunn and was shot in an abandoned church in Detroit, MI.

'la petite mort or a conversation with god' is King 810's follow up to their provocative debut, 'Memoirs Of A Murderer' and is set to arrive on September 16th.

'Blink Of An Eye' is the new single from Those Damn Crows and is taken from their highly anticipated debut album 'Murder And The Motive' which is due out on September 26th. Here's the video for 'Blink Of An Eye'.

New Device are releasing four interlinked records over the next twelve months. 'Devils On The Run' is the second instalment of this vision and is due for release on 30th September 2016. Following the fantastically executed live album 'Takin' Over London', this six track collection shows how the band have grown. Here's 'Hollywood Radio' from 'Devils On The Run'.

Following the release on Peaceville of SikTh's mini album 'Opacities', the first new music from the band since their acclaimed 2006 sophomore album 'Death Of A Dead Day', Peaceville are proud to be re-releasing the album on the 10th anniversary of its original release on 30th September 2016.

'Death Of A Dead Day' was recorded over a six week period in Miami in 2005, self produced with mixing and engineering duties handled by Mike LaPlant (Skindred, Nonpoint, Soil, Dashboard Confessional). Opening track 'Bland Street Bloom' was a brutal progressive thrash song with vocalist Mikee W Goodman penning lyrics inspired by the gentrification of the UK high street. The song also spawned an animated video (directed by Tim Fox) which featured regularly on MTV's Headbangers ball in the US and was heavily played in the UK and here it is:

God Damn have a new single. 'Sing This', with a powerful new music video taken from their forthcoming second album 'Everything Ever', released via One Little Indian Records this September 23rd.

Drummer Ash Weaver said: "Death is present, with his lilies, blood and chains as 'it pains to be alive', but on the other hand, there's a lot of fun coming from us, because after all, it's an end of the world, fist in the air, we don't care, let's be 'aving ya' POP BANGER.”

Singer Thom Edward righteously adds: "But keep an eye out for Axe the dog, I wouldn't mess with him..." Glad that's all clear then...

French Heavy Metallers Existance are back with their brand new album 'Breaking The Rock' which will be released on October 15th via Black Viper Records. The album artwork can be viewed here.

The tracklist is: 1. Heavy Metal Fury, 2. Honest, 3. We Are Restless, 4. All Is On Fire, 5. Deserve Your Love, 6. Sinner Of Love, 7. Marilyn (Icon Of Desire), 8. In The Name Of Revenge, 9. Pain In Paradise, 10. Breaking The Rock.

The album was recorded and mixed in France at Boss Hog Studio and mastered in Los Angeles by Maor Appelbaum (Halford, Malmsteen, Dokken).

Seventh Station have released the first video for their second single 'The Edge Of The Lake' from the debut album 'Between Life And Dreams' which is available everywhere now. The videoclip is an artistic product of an exciting collaboration between Seventh Station's guitarist Dmitri Alperovich and director Gregor Smukovic, who also contributed to the album's artwork. The videoclip was shot in several places in Slovenia, including the well known lake of Bohinj.

Totalitarian have revealrf the first track from their upcoming new album, a 56-minute opus entitled 'De Arte Tragoediae Divinae' which will be released in early 2017. According to the band, 'Supreme Death Worship' is forged in negativity, driven by hatred, destined to spread nihilism, infused with droning disturbances and obscure noises and dripping with poison.

Soulwound are releasing their second album, 'No Peace', via Inverse Records on October 21st 2016 and it picks up where the debut left off with "hit" potential of any kind or radio-friendly choruses definitely not on the agenda. The band have released a music video, 'Altars Of Skin', and here it is.

'Fishing With Dynamite' is Hana Piranha's second studio album and will be released on 5th November 2016. Hana is currently recording and gigging internationally with blues/folk singer songwriter Sean Taylor and rock band Birdeatsbaby. Here's 'Intoxicated'.
