Weapon recently returned to Scream Studios, Croydon and recorded their version of Thin Lizzy's 'The Rocker', as well as re-recording their 1980 hit, 'Set The Stage Alight'. These are the first recordings with the new rhythm section of Tony Forsythe and Darren Lee.

The recordings were produced by Weapon, engineered by Rob Coma and mixed by Andy Reilly at Muse Studios, Atlanta, Georgia, who was also responsible for the Weapon's 2014 critically acclaimed album 'Rising From The Ashes'. Mastering was done by Steve Mann (MSG/Lionheart).

'The Rocker'/'Set The Stage Alight 2017' will be released on Thursday 28th September and will be available through all the usual digital stores.

Meanwhile, writing has begun for the new album and recording will begin, again at Scream Studios, on completion of the tour dates with a predicted release of March 2018...
