Warlock, the band that first thrust German Metal Queen Doro Pesch into the spotlight, reformed for two summer festival dates back in February and now they are to undertake a tour of major US cities in September.

Guitarist Tommy Bolan announced this afternoon on Steve Göldby Talks Metal on MetalTalk Radio On TotalRock that the band are to play a US tour after completing their engagements at Sweden Rock and Norway Live in June and July. The full list of dates are to follow.

Tommy said on the show, after confirming that the line-up will be Doro's current solo album plus himself:

"There will be other European dates and I do know we're going to be playing the United States in September, in some of the major cities like New York, Chicago, LA, those are all pretty much confirmed.

"I don't know the exact numbers but I do know it's definitely going to be happening in September."

You can listen to the whole conversation right here.

The dates are to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of Warlock's fourth and last album 'Triumph And Agony', which contains classic cuts 'All We Are', 'I Rule The Ruins', 'East Meets West', 'Fur Immer' and more.

As well as American musicians Tommy Bolan and Tommy Henriksen, who both made their Warlock debuts on 'Triumph And Agony', the album features Cozy Powell on some tracks.

The two confirmed Warlock dates are:

8th June: Sweden Rock
7th July: Norway Rock Live
