venom inc

After months of anticipation, Venom Inc. will release their upcoming full-length opus, entitled 'Avé', on August 11th 2017 via Nuclear Blast.

Here's the first single from Avé, entitled 'Dein Fleisch'.

Venom Inc. was born during an impromptu live set at 2015s Keep It True Festival in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. The on-stage reunion was a rousing success amongst Venom fans and music industry personnel alike, and although it was originally only set up for fun, Dolan began receiving numerous show offers for Venom Inc. from booking agents around the world.

What started as a live set to celebrate Venom's legacy immediately turned into a serious reunion discussion. The rest is history.

While unexpected at the outset, the end result of this reunion is an album that true Venom fans will gladly add to the top of their playlists.

Vocalist/bassist Tony 'Demolition Man' Dolan told us:

"We tried to shape 'Avé' so that it comes at you dark, then it gets bright and heavy and just keeps growing into some kind of monster."

'Avé' tracklisting:
1. Ave Satanas
2. Forged In Hell
3. Metal We Bleed
4. Dein Fleisch
5. Blood Stained
6. Time To Die
7. The Evil Dead
8. Preacher Man
9. War
10. I Kneel To No God
11. Black N Roll

Going in to writing 'Avé', Venom Inc. realised their live performance was the key to creating an album that would be a Metal classic. It was clear that any songs the trio came up with had to have the intensity, the honesty and the aggression that was happening for Venom Inc. in a live situation. Simply put, they needed to translate what they do on stage onto a record.

Not once did they look back on the Venom catalogue and think, "We have to write another 'Black Metal' or another 'Schizo'." The focus is on Venom Inc. and everything the rejuvenated three-piece do in the here and now.

Tony Dolan adds:

"Expect 100% pure, honest, solid, hard, dark, thought-provoking Metal... like it was, is and forever shall be.

"Classic old-school, but with the ferocity and energy that we display in our live show. We are proud of this album and our new home at Nuclear Blast, as well as our whole team – management, PR, agents, sponsors and most of all, YOU.

"Thank you! See you somewhere on this Blood Stained Earth!"

monsters of rock

Monsters Of Rock In Full Flight is strictly limited to 300 worldwide and is available from 30th November but those ordering before 31st October will have their name published within a dedicated page in the book.

It's a deluxe 128 page hardback book in a metal flight case with a narrative by Jerry Bloom.

When promoter Paul Loasby put on the first Monsters Of Rock Festival in 1980 he could probably never have imagined it would become an annual event that would endure for so many years.

Featuring bands from the UK, Germany, Canada and USA, Loasby chose to stage the event at the Donington race circuit in the middle of England and it would prove to be a defining moment for many of the bands on the bill.

Not least for headliners Rainbow as it was the their last ever show to feature drum legend Cozy Powell. As it would happen it turned out to be the last for vocalist Graham Bonnet as well. For many of the other bands on the bill such as Scorpions, Judas Priest and Saxon, they were all on the ascendancy and would soon go on to even greater success.

Now in celebration of this first ever Monsters Of Rock Festival comes this hardback book full of glorious photos of the bands that took to the stage for that inaugural event including back stage shots. Most of these shots have not been published before which add to the uniqueness of this deluxe 128-page book which is packaged in its own flight case.

Also included are stories surrounding the event with tales and recollections from those who were there, including artists and fans alike. Each book will be signed by the author. The 300 will sell fast and definitely go on to become collector's items so order yours now right here to avoid disappointment.
