Ross The Boss has been making big waves this year and that is sll set to continue as his own solo outfit head for Wacken in just two weeks' time, hot on the heels of a major European tour and prime US dates.

For the band's upcoming three New Jersey/New York area shows - July 28th in Clifton, NJ, July 29th in Queens, NY, and July 30th in Long Branch, NJ - and the August 3rd appearance at the massive Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany, drummer Kenny 'Rhino' Earl will be stepping aside, and will be replaced by Ross' nephew, Lance Barnewold.

Ross told us:

"We - the Ross the Boss Band - are sad that Brother Rhino cannot be with us, and we wish him all the best. Now we have my amazing nephew, Lance Barnewold, to pound the drums into oblivion!"

Ross The Boss Band have an album of all-new material coming soon, via AFM Records but before that, The Hall Of Heavy Metal History have joined forces with Wacken Open Air for a special ceremony inducting Ross as 'Global Metal Ambassador'.

The ceremony will take place on the Main Stage at Wacken on Thursday August 3rd 2017 in front of 75,000 Metal fans.

Joining Ross on stage for the Induction Ceremony will be various Wacken Open Air officials and AFM Records executives. Whitney Alyson Ribbins of TotalRock.com and Steve Göldby of MetalTalk.net, both Nominating Committee Members for the Hall Of Heavy Metal History, will officiate the Induction Ceremony.
