Rock Goddess will release a brand new three song EP entitled 'It's More Than Rock And Roll' on May 19th 2017, their first release since 1987s third album 'Young And Free'.

The first 500 copies of 'It's More Than Rock And Roll' will be signed and numbered and the EP comes with a four page booklet in a jewel case.

Jody Turner wrote all the songs on the EP and also produced them, with Wes Maebe mixing and mastering the record.

Wes has previously worked with a fine array of talents, including Roger Waters, Sir Tim Rice, The Buzzcocks and Beverley Knight and his talents are perfectly suited to that of the reborn and reinvigorated Rock Goddess, Jody Turner on vocals and guitar, Julie Turner on drums and Tracey Lamb on bass.

Jody told us:

"It's been a long time coming, but we got there. We are so proud of this, and of each other. We hope people enjoy it as much as we want them to."

Title track, 'It's More Than Rock And Roll', is a mid-paced roaster that has genuine depth, yet a chant-a-long chorus to get everyone on their feet with the lyrics betraying Rock Goddess' complete passion for this genre. The song will be premiering in the next few days so stay tuned for news of that.

'Back Off' sees the band locked into an assaulting groove, one full of a spirit, while 'We're All Metal' is an anthem for all ages.

This is Rock Goddess 2017, on a totally fresh level.

More Rock Goddess coming very, very soon.
