Kreator, Doro, Max And Iggor Cavalera, Ross The Boss and Turisas have all been confirmed for Christmas Bash 2017 in Geiselwind on December 1st and 2nd.

More bands are set to be announced in the run up to Christmas Bash 2017.

One big highlight is Ross The Boss' third stint in Europe this year. After being inducted into the Hall Of Heavy Metal History in January and receiving the Global Metal Ambassador Award on Wacken's main stage earlier this month, Ross and his band have been delighting crowds globally with their Manowar classics set and this now continues with what is sure to be a Christmas cracker.

Folk Metal heroes Turisas always put on an excellent and the current Christmas Bash 2017 line-up is completed by Brainstorm and Wolfheart.

Festival organizer Ruth Strohofer tells us:

"The Christmas Bash is supposed to be a festival by and for Metal fans. Whatever it is, we want to make it possible. And camping is and remains an essential part of this festival culture."

This year there are overnight packages of extra class. Indian tipis and wooden huts are available in the new Army Camp this year and these can be booked in advance. Each cottage can accommodate up to eight people an exclusive festival feast, the very first of it's type with breakfast of course included.

For sports enthusiasts, there is also archery, spear throwing and climbing to partake in before the evening "Bashen".
