As predicted by MetalTalk last week (here), Black Sabbath will be heading to London for a special show as part of Barclay's British Summer Time shows at Hyde Park in London on Friday July 4th.
Sabbath will be joined by Motörhead, Soundgarden and Special Guests Faith No More to cast a night of darkness in what is set to be a bright summer.
The legendary Ozzy Osborne and his band mates Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi will be headlining the same stage that fellow rock legends The Rolling Stones presided over for two historic gigs last year.

Hailing from Birmingham in the late 60s, Black Sabbath are the undisputed founders of British heavy rock. They have always undoubtedly been one of the best live bands in the world. From their first visit to London to record their debut album to selling out the O2 last year, the band have one ambition left, to melt the faces off the Hyde Park crowd.
As Ozzy says: "The first time I came to London I didn't have a pot to piss in and I spent the advance I got for the first album on a new pair of shoes and some Brut aftershave... We are beyond honoured to be allowed to put on a show and hope that the Royals will enjoy it!"
Also on the bill are Wolfmother, Soulfly, Gallows, Hell, Kobra And The Lotus, Bo Ningen, Rise To Remain, Broken Hands and more.
Pre sale tickets will be available at 9.00am from Wednesday 2nd April so sit tight and spread the word that it's Black Sabbath Time!
Black Sabbath hit the Number One spot last year on both sides of the Atlantic with the album '13' and recently released the DVD 'Live... Gathered In Their Masses'.
Black Sabbath will also be releasing a very limited vinyl single of only 100 copies for 'Age Of Reason' on Record Store Day on April 19th.
