||TIM LAMBESIS BREAKS SILENCE OVER CHARGE OF ATTEMPTING TO HIRE A HITMAN TO MURDER ESTRANGED WIFE

Tim Lambesis, frontman of Metal band As I Lay Dying, was sentenced to six years in prison on May 16, after pleading guilty to attempting to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife Meggan.
An excellent and in-depth interview has been conducted by Ryan J Downey and published by Alternative Press which gives Lambesis's account for what he says is the first and last time. He talks candidly about the background to his marriage and faith, and his descent to hitting rock bottom.

Bandmates Nick Hipa, Phil Sgrosso and Josh Gilbert were in attendance during the sentencing, in support of Meggan. Following publication of the above interview, Hipa published a statement on his Facebook page speaking out against Lambesis, who had some harsh words to say about the band members.
The complexities surrounding this sorry situation are immense, it is hoped that all parties can work towards some form of recovery.
