As the award winning Les-Fest (Scotland's only Rock and Metal Festival) moves into its third year, the organizers are celebrating this milestone by adding another five bands to an already eclectic bill.

Nexilva have just been confirmed as securing a slot on the Friday night main stage line up joining an already strong line up of Death, Tech and Black Metal bands and it's another strong signing for the rapidly growing Les-Fest event.

Nexilva themselves are a five piece progressive death metal band based in Sunderland who formed in 2009. Monolithic Music Manager Simon Garrod, who looks after the band, told us "We are proud to have Nexilva playing Les Fest this year - it is great to have one of our roster chosen"

They will be joined by Birmingham based Death Metal trio Haerken who are eager to share their fables and to further inspire interest in the highly ornate Mediæval world as they continually look to push their crusade across Britain and beyond.

Female fronted Rock band Signed in Crimson have also been signed up to appear at this year's event. Led by the powerful voice of Micki Consiglio, the band were formed in January 2013 and their rock cover of Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' has already attracted in excess of 50,000 hits on the bands YouTube channel.

Four piece Alt Rockers Captain Horizon are the fourth band to be announced, and they will be bringing their unique blend of Alt, Prog and Classic Rock to an already diverse festival line up. The West Midlands based band draw on a wide range of influences, as they write and perform songs that don't really sound like anyone else's while at the same time, they are totally committed to creating something new with every song they write.

The final act to be announced is Les-Fest regular, Christie Connor-Vernal, who makes a very welcome return to the festival but this time with her full band. A regular on the Central Scotland music scene she is influenced by a wide range of artists from Aerosmith to Tom Waits, Guns N' Roses to T.Rex and from Hanoi Rocks to Zeppelin, while also embracing the Rock N' Roll attitude.

Les-Fest director Dave Ritchie said about the latest additions to the bill that "This is undoubtedly the strongest line up we have had yet and adds to the variety that we are already offering - Les-Fest 3 is going to be epic!"

Les-Fest is being held at Wiston Lodge, South Lanarkshire between Friday 27th - Sunday 29th June and tickets, which are selling fast, are currently available from the official Les-Fest website. The full confirmed line up for Les-Fest 3 can be seen below.
