"We are more than happy to sign with Napalm Records, one of the best labels in the world" said the band before adding, "Our intention is to deliver Heavy Metal under the Napalm flag for many years. The civil war has only just begun."
Mullback, Sundén, Myhr and Montelius decided to leave Sabaton in 2012 but still wanted to play music together, so they teamed up with vocalist Nils Patrik Johansson (best known for his work with Astral Doors) and bass player Stefan Eriksson as the first line up of Civil War.
The band's debut EP was released October 2012 and was followed by 'The Killer Angels' album in 2013 which tied in with the band's first live performance at the Sweden Rock Festival sharing the stage with the likes of Kreator, Tankard and Hypocrisy.
