An acclaimed feature of the original station was all day mini-festivals called TotalFest, and on Wednesday January 29 and Thursday January 30 the return of TotalRock is celebrated with two 'TotalFest Unplugged' events.
A 3-band bill each night will be headlined respectively by Little Angels frontman Toby Jepson and The Treatment playing acoustic sets before an invited audience.
These filmed performances will be aired live by the station and streamed live on the new TotalRockTV channel from 8pm.
The new station will actively support the best new UK rock and metal bands by offering exposure to their music and interviews on its Radio and TV and social media platforms.
Programme Director Tony Wilson and Managing Editor Malcolm Dome are supported by a 25-strong team of passionate and dedicated presenters a number of whom have been with the station since it started.
Additionally, many happy returns to Tony Wilson who just celebrated his 70th birthday in style at The Cape, with an acoustic set from Mia Klose and received birthday messages from the likes of Toni Iommi, Rob Halford and King Diamond.
