'Anthems To The Dead' will be Absolva's 3rd album release, following the debut studio album 'Flames Of Justice' released in November 2012, and the live CD and DVD 'Beyond Live' from September 2013.
Their history has been nothing short of prolific, having formed in May 2012, in the wake of Fury UK bassist Luke Appleton joining US giants Iced Earth.
A debut show at SOS Festival, plus 3 shows as special guests with Iced Earth were followed by memorable performances at Bloodstock Open Air and Hammerfest in the UK, as well as Wizzfest, Skull Fest, Metal Inferno and Summerrock festivals in Europe.
Absolva have subsequently toured the UK and Europe extensively, mainly as a headline act but also as special guests with Michael Schenker's Temple Of Rock in France, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.
Absolva's modern take on the art of British Metal has attracted a legion of admirers in the press including here at MetalTalk, where they were voted among the best of 2013.
