Fates Warning vocalist Ray Alder has checked in to comment about the song 'Firefly': "I've always liked the romantic concept of the firefly. A tiny flashing creature searching for another on a warm summer night. Like stars that move..."

During their recent North American tour, the band also stopped by at FoxCT to perform the song 'Firefly' acoustically in the TV studio. Watch the interview and footage here:

Fates Warning's 'Darkness In A Different Light' has not only received great response from media and band supporters alike, but also managed to enter the official sales charts in Germany at number 41, in The Netherlands at number 90 and in the USA at number 162 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Further Billboard entries have been number 50 on the Current Rock Chart, 14 on the Current Hard Music Chart, 142 on the Top Current Albums Chart and 5 on the Top New Artist Albums Chart.

'Darkness In A Different Light' was produced by Fates Warning guitarist and main composer Jim Matheos and mixed by long time engineer Phil Magnotti, while mastering duties were handled by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering, California. The artwork was designed by Conte di San Pietro.
