Progressive-rock super-group Transatlantic, featuring ex-Dream Theatre sticksman Mike Portnoy and Marillion bass player Pete Trewavas will release their brand new studio album 'Kaleidoscope' on 27th January 2014 via InsideOutMusic.

'Kaleidoscope' will be released on four different formats, including a limited edition LP-sized Deluxe Artbook with 2CDs/DVD with a bonus DTS 5.1 Mix DVD-Video which will also include with loads of pictures, liner notes and a lenticular card cover.
There will also be 2CD/DVD media book, a standard 2CD Jewel case and a 3LP & 2CD in slipcase. The InsideOut shop will also be offering an exclusive t-shirt design and a lenticular post card of the album artwork as part of their pre-order.
They formed in 1999, with their first album 'SMPT:e' (a play on words, as both a combination of the members' last initials) released in 2000 to critical reviews followed by 'Bridge Across Forever' in 2001 and then 'Whirlwind' in 2009.
The band will embark on a six week World Tour that will see them joined once again by Pain of Salvation's Daniel Gildenlöw as a fifth touring member.
As part of the extensive tour, the band will also headline the Progressive Nation At Sea 2014 Cruise from the 18th - 22nd February alongside other leading Prog acts including Adrian Belew Power Trio, Devin Townsend Project, King's X, Anathema, Spock's Beard and many more. This unique performance will see the band performing a very special encore of classic Yes material with the legendary Jon Anderson on vocals.
