The award winning rock festival Les-Fest, Scotland's only Rock and Metal festival, has a knack of finding some of the best smaller signed and unsigned bands that Britain and Europe has to offer.
In order to make the 2014 festival the very best, over the past few months they have been busy listening to hundreds of submissions from bands wanting to appear at the festival and are now taking the decision making process to the next stage (literally).

The Les-Fest organizers, in association with Ridgeback Rock Promotions, were so taken by the number and quality of bands from North West England that they couldn't narrow it down to any less than seven bands that they wanted to see live.
The Les-Fest team will be travelling down to The Flying Shuttle, located on Clerke Street in Bury, on Saturday 2nd November to see the seven chosen bands perform right in front of them and with the prospect of winning a slot at Les-Fest 2014, you can bet that these seven bands will be the very best that the North West has to offer.
The full line-up for the first ever Les-Fest North West includes:
When you also throw in two time Les-Fest performers and Scottish metallers Dana O'Hara, that means that you -'re getting an amazing six hours of rock and metal from eight bands - all for the bargain price of £7 (on the door).
Advanced tickets will also be available shortly from the Les-Fest website - http://www.les-fest.co.uk/ - for reserve and collection at the venue.
Please note, though, that this is not a battle of the bands.
The Les-Fest Crew will be in attendance and will look at all the bands playing. If they meet the criteria in terms of professionalism, stage presence and strength of material, they WILL get a slot at Les-Fest 3 in June 2014. The poster does not necessarily represent the running order - that will be decided on the night.
