Canadian electronic act Skinny Puppy have released a stunning video for the song 'illisiT' which was directed by Jason Alacrity and is taken from the band's recently released new album, 'Weapon'.
Formed in 1984, Skinny Puppy are firmly established as a groundbreaking voice in the world of electronic music, fearless in both their musical experimentation and in voicing a stance on the issues of our times. 'Weapon' is the stunning new album by the band, standing as a commentary on the concurrent glorification of gun culture and simultaneous horror at the devastation that guns can cause.

Initially envisioned as an experimental side project by cEvin Key while he was in the new wave band Images In Vogue, Skinny Puppy evolved into a full-time project with the addition of vocalist Nivek Ogre. Since their formation, the band have relased over a dozen albums and survived the loss of musician Dwayne Goettel who was in the band from 1986 until his death in 1995 after an apparent heroin overdose. Ministry main-man Al Jourgensen joined the band as a guest musician in 1989.
The band have announced an extensive thirty date North American tour for early 2014 that commences on 24th January and runs until 5th March.
