Created with the help of friends like Nikki Sixx and Whitesnake guitarist Doug Aldridge, 'Living Like A Runaway' sees her single and refocused, tapping back into a signature sound that sold a million copies of her 1988 album, 'Lita'.

Legendary female metal icon Lita Ford, one of the primary goddesses of hard rock, is set to unleash a brand new live album, 'The Bitch Is Back... Live', as a 12 track digipak CD, containing a special booklet featuring various fan photos, on Steamhammer/SPV on October 28th.

'The Bitch Is Back... Live' was recorded at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, California, in October 2012, hot on the heels of the release of 2012s hugely acclaimed comeback studio album, 'Living Like A Runaway'. Kicking off with her rousing rendition of Elton John's 'The Bitch Is Back', released as a bonus track on 'Living Like A Runaway', Lita and her band triumphantly romp through prime cuts from the new album, plus select classic hit singles.

Lita's scintillating live set was caught at Wolf Den, Uncasville, Connecticut, on January 26th 2013, by Powerplay's Tony Pijar, who stated in his review in the magazine's April 2013 issue that "Ford was all smiles as she and her band displayed a tightness that was uncanny.

"This was, for sure, a throwback show to the prolific hair days of the 80s, but Ford is no nostalgia act, especially when she continues to release quality albums. Speaking of which, 'Living Like A Runaway' kind of reminds me of her long lost band the Runaways.

"'Back To The Cave', the revving 'Can't Catch Me', 'Hungry' and 'Under The Gun' were all prime slices of short, catchy metal with guitarist Mitch Perry in fine form. His leads were concise, memorable and impacting no flash, just substance. This was straight-up, in-your-face, rock'n'roll.

"'Relentless', another new song, was a heavy, mid-paced song with a killer riff. 'Hate', also new, rode on a simple, yet effective, bass line courtesy of Mike O'Brien. 'Dancing On The Edge', 'Close My Eyes Forever' and 'Kiss Me Deadly' put things into perspective – Ford deserves to be recognized as a consummate hard rock songwriter, performer and musician."
