Attica Rage have announced and officially welcomed Colin Wilson from Bellshill, Lanarkshire as their new bass guitarist.

The band have known Colin for a few years now when he played with Stitch and Hellatus, so there was already had a bond there. He agreed to stand-in on bass duties at the December gigs in Liverpool and Mansfield and during the rehearsals and the gigs themselves, and the band knew he was the right person for the job.

Colin is a pro bass player with great backing vocals and harmonies and he is also a songwriter but most of all, he brings a fresh energy and enthusiasm to the band.

"We'll be touring extensively across the UK and Europe throughout the year with dates in Spring currently being booked along with summer festivals – we'll post them as soon as they are ready to be announced."

Attica Rage headline the Wizzfest 2012 festival in Aalter on Saturday 24th March, with a warm-up gig at De Verlichte Geest in Roeselare on Friday 23rd March, supporting 80s British Metallers Chariot.
