NIKKI SIXX CALLS 12-YEAR-OLD FAN TO SAY THANKS FOR EMOTIONAL YOUTUBE VIDEO 25th December 2011
When 12-year-old Chloe McCarty, who battles a mental disorder called trichotillomania, created a three-minute YouTube featuring the Sixx: A.M. song 'Skin', Nikki Sixx was so moved by it that he arranged for a conference call with his bandmates and Chloe to thank her personally.
The video, which you can see below, shows Chloe holding up hand-written messages addressing the condition that caused her to pull out her hair and be bullied at school. "Chloe, I wanna meet you," tweeted Nikki...

Nikki praised the young girl for her inspiration and strength that she has given others through the moving video, saying: "You are a role model ... Your strength will give others hope .. THANK YOU."
Chloe told the Boston Herald: "They were thanking me — but I was thanking them the whole time. I mean, it was their song."
The young girl's aunt, April Hanson, added: "[It's] just amazing that people of that celebrity stature have such a level of kindness."
