||MONUMENT ANNOUNCE SIGNING AND PROMISE A 'NEW' NWOBHM

Led by frontman Peter Ellis (White Wizzard, The More I See), whose passion has always been Classic British Heavy Metal, Monument say that the second wave of true British Heavy Metal has arrived and announced their signing to Transcend Music to release their debut album.
Peter said; "I am extremely happy to be working with Rob [Ferguson, Transcend Music]! He has played a very influential part in the development of my career so far and I've always been inspired by his hard work ethic, dedication and enthusiasm, and I know that he can take Monument where it needs to be.

Earlier this year, the band packed the prestigious CroBar on their thunderous launch night, where they introduced the Industry and expectant fans alike to a taster of what is to come... and what did we learn?
Monument is bold, brash and British to the core. Those that were lucky enough to catch the show witnessed an irrepresible celebration of all that is Heavy Metal, with echos of Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford and Ronnie James Dio in Ellis' vocals, and the dual guitar work reminiscent of the sound pioneered by Wishbone Ash in the 70s.
Proudly walking by their side is mascot 'Jack', the British bulldog we're told we'll be seeing a lot more of...
