Hailing from the seaside town of Livorno, Italy, Metalcore outfit Tasters (formerly known as Taster's Choice) blasted out of their serene surroundings touting a blend of metal riffing, punishing breakdowns, mixed growl and screaming vocals and electronic elements.

The band formed in 1999 and released two full-length albums - 'Shining' in 2005 (Shark Records/ Gencross Records) and 'The Rebirth' in 2009 (Bagana Records). During this period, Tasters built up a respectable reputation in the Italian Metalcore scene, opening for Cancer Bats, 30 Seconds To Mars, Sonic Syndicate, Evergreen Terrace, Terror and, Aiden.
When the time came to do some traveling of their own, Tasters started touring outside Italy, hitting the UK with Scottish Metalheads Bleed From Within in December 2009 and as headliner in February/March 2010. The band have also toured Russia three times with a total of more than 50 incredible gigs, building up a huge fan base in the former USSR country.
Additionally, in 2011 Tasters were invited back to Russia for another 22 shows. They did the entire tour in a car, driving more than 22,000 km from the North of Italy to Ukraine, Russia, Siberia and back. All the bands incredible hard work lead to a deal with the highly respected Metal label, Nuclear Blast.
Recently signed to Nuclear Blast for Europe, Texas In July couldn't be more thrilled to join the powerhouse label.
Defying any definitions of age, Ephrata, PA's Texas in July have already toured the US and Europe, sharing stages with everyone from The Devil Wears Prada and Every Time I Die to August Burns Red and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster – all before the entire band had graduated from high school.
With the two youngest members walking across the graduation stage this year, Texas in July are about to charge headfirst into living out their dreams full-time.
Vocalist Alex Good explains, "Now that we've finished high school, we plan to tour as much as humanly possible. We are so stoked on seeing the world and meeting new people everywhere we go."
The band is comprised of Good, Chris Davis (guitar), Ben Witkowski (bass), Adam Gray (drums) and Christian Royer (guitar). By balancing their sensitive expressions of faith with some of metalcore's most ferocious and in-your-face vocals and breakdowns, the band is well on their way to making a name for themselves and to putting small-town-Pennsylvania on the map.
