Les-Fest, Scotland's only rock and Metal Festival are proud to announce the first ten bands for its third annual event in 2014.

The festival organsiers had the following to say: "It seems like only a few weeks since we were finalising the line up for Les-Fest 2 and here we are back again planning Les-Fest 3. The feedback had been humbling and the support overwhelming, we thank you. So what's in store for 2014?

"Building on the success of 2013 we are once more scouring the country looking for the best new, up and coming and fasting rising stars in the rock and Metal world. In addition to that we have cast the net a bit further afield to bring Scotland and the UK something rather special for 2014.

"We are delighted to announce, joining us on Friday night, we have the winners of the Global Metal award at the Metal Hammer Golden God Awards. Traveling all the way from Mumbai, one of the most important bands to have come out of the Indian music scene and still at the forefront of extreme Metal music we have Demonic Resurrection.

"This is a major coup for Les-Fest 3 and we are honored to be hosting them exclusively in Scotland. This will be a rare treat, so get your place early for an awesome show.

"They will be joined on Saturday's Main Stage by Sacred Mother Tongue who after triumphant performances at both Bloodstock and Download earlier this year are sure to rock the Les-Fest crowd. Also on Saturday we host Welsh Rockers Revoker, currently preparing for their UK tour with Turisas this shows the quality of the acts we are aiming to secure for 2014. We are also delighted to announce that we will have up and coming progressive metal act Mask of Judas, tighter songwriters than most and one of the finest upcoming metal acts on the south coast.

"Continuing our support for the new and unsigned we are really excited to announce two bands for the Friday night main stage. First up it's Deadly Circus Fire often compared to bands such as Tool, and Mastodon and with Bloodstock and Hammerfest appearances you know you will be getting a quality act. They will be joined on Friday evening by Cypher16 their Alt. Epic/Metal sound has seen them tour in India and America, playing with the likes of Lacuna Coil, and Children Of Bodom.

"Moving much closer to home we bring you a couple of Northern Acts. Rocking the Friday main stage, is Fallen Fate who bring a mix of Speed and heavy technical riffs to create a contemporary and unique brand of Metal. Then on Sunday we have Falling Red the British rockers conquering the planet one town at a time and the Jewel in the UK's Sleaze-Rock Crown.

"Next up we are really excited to introduce The Wild Lies, if you like stomping riffs, ear melting solos and choruses to make the walls sweat; this may be the band for you. Our final band in our first announcement last but absolutely not least is Fury a British Metal band which blends the hard hitting thrash styles of the 80s bay area scene with melodic vocals more common to the NWOBHM era to create their own unique sound.

"With all acts having Download, Bloodstock or Hammerfest experience once more we are raising the bar for Scottish Music Festivals.

"So there you have it, the first ten bands for 2014. Early bird discounted tickets are available via the website Get them quickly because they are strictly limited."
