Young, fast-rising hard rockers, Hornet, who have been described as the band who will revolutionise the music industry just as The Sex Pistols did, have announced details on their long awaited, as yet untitled, debut album which is set for release in June 2013 and they want you to be a part of the process.

Hornet are set to record with young, up and coming producer Phil Kinman at his studio in Pinner, Northwest London and mastering engineer of Iron Maiden's 'From Fear To Eternity' collection and Steve Harris' 'British Lion' album. Ade Emsley is set to master the album.

Hornet will be involved in Pledge Music, a new hands-on, direct-to-fan platform which is the new business of making music and has already successfully been used by artists such as Ginger Wildheart, The Rasmus, Inme and The Libertines to name a few.

Fans can 'pledge' for an advance copy of the album which will be pre-released through Pledge Music in April 2013 with 10% of any money raised after the target is reached going to MacMillan Cancer Support.

"Pledge is a great way to get fans involved with our debut album and make it as much of an experience for them as it is for us!" said frontman Joe Thompson. "The album can be bought in advance through Pledge Music for just £8 or other exclusives can be bought such as signed setlists, guitar tabs and even Tollef's Gibson SG which will be used in the recording of the album. Also 10% of any money Pledged after our goal is reached will be given to the great cause that is Macmillan Cancer Support."

Pledge Music is not just exclusive to fans in the UK but anybody worldwide can get involved and help to make their mark on rock history. You can get involved by making a 'pledge' on the album by clicking here.
