Last night, Halloween, the second Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund Gala was held at Avalon Hollywood California.
The night featured a set from Dio's Disciples plus an all star jam featuring Glenn Hughes, Joey Vera (Armoured Saint), Billy Morrison (Billy Idol), Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Dave 'Rock' Feinstein (Rods), Michael Sweet and Oz Fox (Stryper) and various members of Buckcherry.

Tony Iommi had gifted the charity with a exclusive Gibson Iommi SG Prototype left handed guitar which later went for auction where Tony posed for a photograph with the winner.
Later Tony was crowned the 'King Of Rock 'N Roll' and was presented with an award. Geezer Butler was also in attendance and was one of the award presenters on the night.
The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund has already raised more than $500,000 in its short history. Monies raised have been committed to the cancer research work of the T. J. Martell Foundation for Cancer, AIDS and Leukemia Research and the gastric cancer research unit of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where Ronnie was treated for gastric cancer during the last six months of his life, according to Wendy Dio, widow of the late singer and Fund President/Founder.
