Black Sabbath have finished recording 15 tracks for their new album. Twelve will make the album and three will be offered as bonus tracks for special editions.
Sabbath have been working on the album at Shangri La Studios in Malibu, Calif. Ozzy Osbourne recorded vocals with Rick Rubin, Geezer Butler wrote all the lyrics and the pair are working to complete the songs and are on with the first five now. One song title has been confirmed – 'God Is Dead'.
Guitarist Tony Iommi completed all 15 guitar tracks during the band's sessions in England earlier this year. Ozzy said that he spoke to Tony recently and he is in good spirits and his recovery from his cancer treatments earlier this year is going very well.

Ozzy's wife and manager Sharon Osbourne has told Triple M that Black Sabbath will definitely be touring Australia in spring next year.
Interviewed on Merrick and the Highway Patrol on Friday, Sharon was asked whether Australia would be seeing Sabbath anytime soon. "Of course you are," she said. "They are going to be touring here in the spring of next year. Definitely."
The band's original members – Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler – were joined by drummer Tommy Clufetos (Ozzy Osbourne, Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper) for shows at Download Festival and Birmingham's O2 Academy in England, as well as Lollapalooza in Chicago this year.
