KRAMPUS DRUMMER STRUCK BY LIGHTNING 10th October 2012
Italian folk Metal band Krampus has announced the departure their drummer Carlo Adrian. He was recently struck by lightning and will not be able to play the drums any time soon. The band are in the process of finding a replacement for him and will be announcing a new drummer very soon.
The band commented: "With one laughing and one crying eye we have to announce that our drummer Carlo has left Krampus effective immediately. He has, in fact, been struck by lightning and considers himself lucky to not have gotten hurt worse. He is OK, but will not be able to play the drums for some time to come. Carlo is a great friend of us and we would like to thank him for the great effort and dedication he has had for the band. We wish him good and full recovery and all the best for his future endeavours.

"The good news is that we are already working on a replacement, and will have exciting news to announce sooner rather than later. One hint for now: He's a very talented musician, and you have most likely already heard of him with his current band!"
Krampus' latest album 'Survival Of The Fittest' came out via Noisert earlier this year. The album can be ordered from the NoiseArt website at http://noiseart.cc/wordpress/?page_id=991.
Krampus are scheduled to join Wintersun, Korpiklaani, Varg and others on the Heidenfest tour later this month.
