ABSOLVA ON TRACK FOR DEBUT ALBUM AND FIRST LIVE PERFORMANCES 9th July 2012
Absolva, the band formed by Fury UK's Chris Appleton after bassist Luke Appleton left to join Iced Earth, will release their debut album, 'Flames Of Justice', in October/November on Rocksector Records, as well as undertaking a tour of Europe and the UK.
Absolva play their very first gig on Sunday 22nd July at Radcliffe Civic Hall at the SOS Festival with Tygers Of Pan Tang, Evil Scarecrow, Beholder, Exit State and many more. Then it's on to Dublin, Belfast and Glasgow as support to the mighty Iced Earth.

Absolva are described as a classic Metal band, featuring twin lead guitar in the great British tradition and consist of Chris, Martin McNee (both of Fury UK), Tom Atkinson (Vice) and Dan Bate (Point Blank Fury).
Fury UK are not over however and Luke remains a member, however the band are 'on ice' for the remainder of 2012.
Chris commented earlier this year: "Right now, after completion of the current UK and European tour dates, the immediate plan is for Fury UK to take an extended break for the remainder of 2012 before reviewing plans for 2013. Rest assured the band will be back with the same line-up of Chris Appleton (lead vocals/lead guitar), Martin McNee (drums), Luke Appleton (bass/backing vocals) and when they are back, it's going to be special!

Fans can expect the band's setlist to include a small selection of familiar Fury UK songs, plus plenty of material from 'Flames Of Justice'.
The band has additionally accepted an invitation to headline next years' Wizzfest in Belgium, March 2013.
