| BREAKING NEWS VINNIE VINCENT TO PAY GENE SIMMONS' LEGAL FEES 20th June 2012 
According to the US Lawyers' website www.law360.com, former Kiss guitarist Vinnie Vincent (aka Vincent Cusano) is to pay his ex-bandmate Gene Simmons (aka Gene Klein) legal fees from his royalties. Last week's appeals court ruling affirms a California federal court's decisions arising from Vincent's 1997 royalty dispute with Simmons. In his original complaint, Vincent claimed that Kiss wasn't paying him all the royalties that were due to him for songs. Article continues below...
Vincent was a member of Kiss from 1982-84 and co-wrote several songs on the band's 'Creatures Of The Night', 'Lick It Up' and 'Revenge' albums, including the classics 'I Love It Loud', 'Unholy' and 'Lick It Up'. He was fired from the band for unprofessional conduct at the end of the 'Lick It Up' tour. Since then Vincent has been at the centre of a several legal battles, usually against Kiss but also including a bizarre case last year when he was arrested for spousal battery and was then found to have the corpses of four pet dogs stored in his house.
