In these times of radical change where politics, press and power are shifting hourly and the oppression of freedom and thought is being challenged across the world, there's no time more apposite for the release of one of the most dramatic, provocative and downright furious songs of the year.
Roaring in on chiming guitars and scabrous, abrasive growls, 'Power Through Fear' is an atomic blast of righteous indignation aimed squarely at the power-brokers who've laid their boot across the necks of the downtrodden and manipulated the media to produce a climate of fear. It's also one of the most anthemic songs from London metal stars Rise To Remain's debut album, 'City Of Vultures'. You can see the video below.

Featuring an enormous chorus, throat-shredding vocal, sledgehammer riffs and pounding drums, 'Power Through Fear' is already proving itself a highlight of Rise To Remain's live set. A blazing performance at Download in June kicked off a summer of gigs, including shows around Europe which culminated with a jaw-dropping, show-stealing turn at Sonisphere UK, where hundreds of people crowded around outside the packed tent desperate to get in as the band turned in a career-high performance.
And now, with The Observer hailing them as one of the summer's 'Hottest New Talents', Radio 1 giving them daytime radio play and the rock press championing them, Rise To Remain are on the cusp of great things, ready to explode with the release of 'City Of Vultures'.
As frontman Austin Dickinson explains of the debut album, "I hope a lot of people will respect this record, especially coming from a really young band, because there's a lot that's outside the usual Metalcore cliché thinking box. At the same time, I think that our fans will just love it for being a great album.
"It's energetic, it's got a lot of melody and a lot of brutal parts and all the things that tick their boxes, as well as plenty for the older generation too! Ha ha!"
