Attica Rage have issued the following statement regarding the launch of their new album.

"Ladies & gentlemen... it has been a long-time in the making but the new album is about to land very soon!

"Entitled ROAD DOG, the album contains 14 songs and was recorded with producer roddymacaudio and mastered at Masterdisk, New York (Metallica, Ozzy, Pantera, Nirvana, Pearl Jam) by Michael Tucci (Steve Albini, John Agnello). The album is a collection of classic, hard rock grooves, blistering metal riffs, powerful ballads, blues-infused biker rock plus a few extra surprises along the way and we can't wait for you to finally hear it!

Article continues below...

"The album will be launched with an almighty bang at the forthcoming Hammerfest III festival in Prestatyn, North Wales on 18-20th March. Special events are being planned for over the weekend including an official launch party, album signing session as well as a full-force, live showcase performance that is guaranteed to raise the roof and rattle the bones!

"We guarantee this will be the hottest Attica show you have ever seen – quite literally! And, you can be there with us...

"To celebrate the album launch we are giving away 3 sets of 4-Day Pass tickets to the festival! This gives you entry to all the stages over the 3 nights including the pre-fest part night on Thursday 17th March (look out for a special Attica Undercover set) plus the two full days on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th. Accommodation isn't included with these passes however, as it is all but sold out.

"To win a set of passes to Hammerfest, all you need to do is answer the question below;

"Which (dark) city does Attica Rage come from?

A – Edinburgh
B – Glasgow
C – Gotham

"Email your answer along with your name, mobile number and date of birth to info@hammerfest.co.uk before the closing date of March 1st (subject to availability) and we could be seeing you in Prestatyn in March!

"There is a mighty selection of bands lined up for Hammerfest this year: Accept, Biohazard, Satyricon, Turisas, Ill Niño, My Ruin, Sabaton, Breed 77, Evile, Sylosis, Onslaught, Viking Skull, Beholder, Chtonic, Wolf, Blitzkrieg plus fellow Scots, Bleed from Within and Dirty Rose and many more – take a peek at www.hammerfest.co.uk for full line-up & info.

"In the meantime, take a sneak preview of some of the final song mixes plus new promo photos at www.myspace.com/atticarage and if you're a Facebook regular, join us over at www.facebook.com/atticarage.

"Also, head on over to the Hammerfest forums and spread some Rage love at www.hammerfest.co.uk/community

"This is a major event for Attica – a new look, a new sound, the start of a brand new chapter – a new breed of fired-up, full-throttle Biker Rock! Jump onboard this Road-Rage Trip with us and help kickstart it with a thunderous bang!

"Part 2 of the special announcement coming shortly!

"ROAD DOG... roaring into town near you very soon!"
