1st February 2018

Heavy Metal legends, the mighty Accept, will be coming to London on Thursday 8th February for a one off UK date at the Koko in London, and you and a friend can be there by winning a pair of tickets in our exclusive competition right here on MetalTalk.

The Teutonic terrors released their fifteenth studio album, 'The Rise Of Chaos', through Nuclear Blast last August. A day before the release, Accept performed a special show at Wacken Open Air Festival as part of the celebratory evening 'A Night To Remember'. The band performed a most memorable historic gig complete with an orchestra who played on some of their biggest hits.

'The Rise Of Chaos' is the fourth studio album to feature vocalist Mark Tornillo who has helped to catapult Accept's success in their homeland by giving them a consecutive run of record breaking Top Ten albums in the German charts.

Guitarist Wolf Hoffman says of the album:

"'The Rise Of Chaos' is something I have been thinking about often. Wherever we go there is some hidden, as well as some visible, destruction and it kind of changes the world we know. What was there today can be gone tomorrow and it's somehow irritating, because it happens on so many levels and no one knows what comes next.

"The cover portrays our last stage set-up, but now clearly destroyed, like after a catastrophe."

Accept made a major impact on the European Heavy Metal scene in the 80s with the classic albums 'Breaker', 'Restless And Wild', 'Balls To The Wall', 'Metal Heart' and 'Russian Roulette' which saw the band achieve major worldwide success.

Following their disbandment in 1997 and short-lived reunion in 2005, Accept reunited again in 2009 with former TT Quick frontman Mark Tornillo replacing Udo Dirkschneider and have since released their four highest charting albums to date; 'Blood Of The Nations' (2010), 'Stalingrad' (2012) and 'Blind Rage' (2014), which was the first Accept album to reach number one in the charts in their home country. 'The Rise Of Chaos' reached number three.

Early last year Accept also released 'Restless & Live', recorded on the 'Blind Rage' tour across Europe in 2015 featuring the very best from their lengthy career.

Accept have been raising chaos all across Europe this year on their current tour and the band will be coming to the UK for an one off date at the Koko in London on Thursday 8th February, with support from Night Demon.
