It begins with the killer track 'Bloodshot Eyes' and it sets the formula that TTF use so well. For every screaming breakdown or bruising guitar riff there is a massive chorus just waiting to be sprung.
Songs 'One Step Away', 'Lights Out For Summer', the immediate throw your fist in the air 'Not So Hollywood' and the standout 'When The World Stops Spinning' shows depth of song writing and ability to mix many elements of sound without losing the strength of the song.
The band takes down the intensity for 'Runaway' and also does a killer Metal version of the Cutting Crew's hit song 'I Just Died In Your Arms'.
The final track, 'You Can't Sleep With Concrete Shoes', stamps the album with its aggressive attack and power.
'What Doesn't Kill Us' is a fantastic album and shows the strength of a band that is surely on the rise in 2012. Power, melody, and great songs line this album from start to finish. Get out and pick this one up.
