massive wagons

Massive Wagons are one of Britain's brightest rock acts and are already an established favourite at Biker rallies as well as having high profile slots at Hard Rock Hell, Les-Fest and SOS Festivals.

The band have also toured the UK sharing stages with established acts such as Jettblack, The Treatment and Praying Mantis. In anticipation of the band's forthcoming new album, 'Fight The System', they have released 'Red Dress' as the lead single, and what a cracking tune it is too.

'Red Dress' itself has the band firing on all cylinders from the first beat of the drum in this mid paced track which is surely a future Massive Wagon's classic track. Drummer Alex Thistlethwaite pounds out the solid beat as the main guitar riff really drives the track forwards. If you add into the mix an upbeat vocal and an exceptional guitar solo courtesy of Adam Thistlethwaite, for me anyway, the forthcoming album has jumped straight to the top of my 'to buy' list.

But the good stuff doesn't stop there, because when you're downloading the new single (available now), you can also download two bonus tracks.

The first, 'Blood Red', is another solid mid paced song with its instrumental intro before the soaring chorus from vocalist Baz Mills really takes hold. The track also baosts a really good central guitar riff, with its meaty hook around which the rest of the song is built.

The final track is an acoustic version of 'Hurricane Suzy' which can be described in one single word – exceptional. This track is really a showcase for Mills and he grabs the opportunity with both hands (or should that be in full voice!). His voice has never sounded better as he has the opportunity to show how good he is when his voice in the confines of this track.

In short, if you're a fan of classic rock bands like AC/DC, Airbourne or Rainbow and you haven't heard Massive Wagons yet, then this is your chance to hear three great tracks for a bargain price, and I'm convinced that after hearing these tracks, like me, you'll buy the new album too.

We just priced up the whole four day trip with hotels, flights, shuttles and festival tickets for less than £300 and we don't think you will get a better value festival than that, anywhere.
