Ex-Kobra And The Lotus guitar shredder Timothy Brown returns with his new band, Striker. After joining as a full-time permanent member in the spring, the band set off on a cross Canadian tour and then touched down in the UK and kicked off their European tour on Monday 25th November with a free show at The Unicorn (Camden) in London.
Tim told me: "Immediately after the tour, we head to Sweden, to go into the studio to record the new album, which will be my first record with the band. The record should be out next spring and we're all very excited about this album as we think it's our best work yet."

This will be Striker's first ever UK tour where they will be supporting their 'Armed To The Teeth' album which was produced by multi-platinum selling Producer Michael Wagener who has worked with Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne and Skid Row to name but a few.
The album has rocketed Striker into the spotlight and gave the band the chance to support Heavy Metal titans Metallica at two sold out shows at Rexall Place in their hometown of Edmonton, Alberta a mere ten days after its release.
The band are playing an incredible fourteen shows in a row with support from Screamer and Evil Invaders, on what looks to be an exciting evening of Metal for both band and audience alike.
When asked the difference between touring with KATL and Striker Timothy replied: "Ha ha, well I think all my Kobra And The Lotus tours only had two to five shows a week. I never did anything like fourteen shows in a row!
"Striker is certainly a little bit more wild I guess ha ha... I'm really looking forward to being able to play that much and meet that many more new people! I love playing live so the more I can play the happier I am.
"I just hope all my European friends are doing well and I hope we have the chance to cross paths again. It's nice to hear from you! I hope you can come experience the live craziness of a Striker show!"
