True British Heavy Metal warriors Monument are back with all guns blazing as they release their brand new single 'Runaway'.
The single is the first release from the band's upcoming (and highly anticipated) debut album 'Renegades' - and what a song it is!
It's a fast and furious tune which is surely destined to become a classic track of the future, with it's roots squarely set at the feet of rock legends Thin Lizzy whilst also taking some inspiration from Heavy Metal legends Iron Maiden.

Vocalist Peter Ellis puts in a truly stunning performance with his soaring vocals which are set against the twin guitar attack courtesy of Lewis Stephens and Dan Baune whilst the solid rhythm section of bass player Matt Scott and Matt C on drums are the glue that holds the track together.
If 'Runaway' is indicative of the rest of the upcoming 'Renegades' album, then it's an album that I'm certainly looking forward to hearing.
The 'Renegade' album was produced by Peter Ellis at Angree Bee studios in London and was mastered by Scott Atkis (who has previously worked with Amon Amarth, Cradle Of Filth and Sylosis) and is being released on MGR Music in Spring 2014.
