It will soon be time to 'Stand Up And Shout' to an evening of Dio music once again when the band come to O2 Academy Islington later next Monday.
Formed of former Dio members Simon Wright - drums, Craig Goldy - guitar, Scott Warren - keyboards plus James Lomenzo on bass and Tim Owens and Toby Jepson on vocals, the band were formed in honour of Ronnie James Dio (1942 - 2010).
Ronnie's wife and manager Wendy said the following: "There will never be another Ronnie, but we want to keep his music alive and hope you will support the band and become one of the Dio Disciples."

Hostile, formed in 2006 by A.J. who was brought up in a grave yard house in the heart of the Black Country (The birth place of Heavy metal).The line-up consists of vocalist Jay Mills, the guitar duet of A.J. Mills and Jack Young, Alex Hill (son of Ian Hill, Judas Priest) on bass duties and Gunga on the drums.
With an impressive CV as a vocalist fronting thrash to Heavy Metal outfits, Peter Ellis (ex-singer of White Wizzard) decided that a second wave of true British Heavy Metal was long over-due. Coming from someone whose passion has always been Classic British Heavy Metal, I think we are in safe hands.
