Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock - The Mad Axeman celebrates his newest classic rock event. A brand new line-up featuring the ex-Scorpions stars Herman Rarebell on drums and Francis Buchholz on bass and Tank vocalist Doogie White present a new program containing classics from UFO, MSG and the Scorpions.
After touring the world in 2009/10 with his MSG 30th Anniversary Show featuring MSG's original singer Gary Barden and classic rock legends like Carmine Appice, Simon Phillips, Chris Slade and Chris Glen he now places another piece in the big rock temple.

Classics from UFO ('Rock Bottom', 'Doctor Doctor'), MSG ('Armed And Ready', 'Into The Arena') and the Scorpions ('Another Piece Of Meat', 'Rock You Like A Hurricane') plus new songs from the just released CD 'Temple Of Rock' (Inakustik), such as 'Before The Devil Knows You're Dead', 'Miss Claustrophobia' and 'Hangin On'.
In 2010 Michael Schenker received the Marshall 11 Award of the Classic Rock Magazine, in 2011 he rocked the High Voltage Festival; now he's back in 2012 with the 'Temple Of Rock' world tour. Michael Schenker will be touring 'Temple Of Rock' with different line-ups all around the world. He will feature each of the three singers from the brand new 'Temple Of Rock' album: Michael Voss, Robin McAuley and Doogie White.
The 'Temple Of Rock World Tour' started in the United States in February/March 2012 featuring Robin McAuley - vocals, Elliott 'Dean' Rubinson - bass, Wayne Findlay - keyboards and guitar, and Pete Holmes - drums. At the end of March, Michael was in Japan with Michael Voss - vocals, Herman Rarebell - drums, Elliott 'Dean' Rubinson - bass, and Wayne Findlay - keyboards and guitar and the third 'Temple Of Rock' line-up has been touring Europe since April featuring Doogie White - vocals, Herman Rarebell - drums, Francis Buchholz - bass and Wayne Findlay - keyboards and guitar. Support comes from Exit State who released their debut album, 'Death Of A Rockstar', at the end of May 2011 and soon after saw their video, 'Lost Beyond Belief', rise to the coveted number one slot on the Kerrang TV's chart request show, comfortably rubbing shoulders with Stone Sour, Paramore and Blink 182 with a run of several weeks in the top ten.
The band had already secured their record deal with King Prawn Records before signing with the management arm of Rocksector Records who promptly set about the further development of the band, a tour support slot with Michael Schenker's 'Temple Of Rock' should open up some new doors for this up and coming band.
